  Look, even if the short term liquidity is sorted out, the issue of competence is a concern, as the government has shown itself to be struggling and looking to deflect attention with propraganda and spin.
  
  Political spin at this time is not needed, what is, is a plan (doesn't matter if it's from NDC, NPP, CPP etc) where Ghana can start to tackle the core issues of a bloated central government and the lack of infrastructure and framework supporting development and growth of business and generation of income tax.
  
  How can a country take less than 30% of oil revenues, not tax coporations aappropriately, not develop the tourist trade (by building a 2nd international airport) and develop a better visa system thereby brining in more hard currency or help development of export through reducing the importation of goods which Ghana can produce. Plus a lack of access to credit for businesses and continue to not tackle corruption rrobustly.
  
  It's a shame, Ghana has the people and the stability; however the lack of common sense and foresight is shameful.

The people need to stand up, otherwise our country is doomed. Even I can manage this country and make profit for the country. We have too many crooks in office, both NDC and NPP, as well as the other parties too.

  If this guy is a certified financial analyst,CFA-the designation for professionals who anlalyse corporate financial statements to guide asset managers and stock brokers on stock trading then he is way over his head with this advice. Any such advice should come from the monetarists not a CFA.And then there is another guy called Casely Hayford a CFA who comes on Ghanweb and spouts nonsense.Who are these bozos anyway?

Where is the cocoa, diamond, timber, remittance money? Did the Bank of Ghana just insure bonds for 25% intesrest? That's crazy (25%). These money managers cannot even manage their own money properly, much more manage the economy of a country.
