I am not surprised that you are friends of Allan Kyeremateng. You seem to be as dumb and as unqualified as the person you are claiming to support.
What does your statement, "useless akyem article" mean? You could have done better by letting all of us readers know exactly what you think is useless in the article. It would have helped all of us understand you better.
I am not a supporter of the NPP or NDC either, but I monitor the activities of all other political parties particularly, those two parties and it is very clear that Allan has no political muscle whatsoever to lead that party. The only attributes that are referred to him is that he is handsome and he has a lot of money - even if the source of that money is not disclosed. Are these 'attributes' good enough to be voted for?
We (Ghanaians) have to be more serious in our political choices than this if we seriously want our electricity, water, roads, educational facilities, hospitals, industries and general developmental issues to improve.
It seems to me that Kyeremateng is simply a Kufuor goon who was hand-picked by Kufuor over and above many other more viable and 'qualified' NPP members to continue his leadership as his 'anointed son' on his behalf.
Has Kyeremateng ever been an executive member of an NPP constituency, regional/national office anywhere in the country? On what basis is he qualified to be the flag-bearer of his party - much more an aspiring president of Ghana? What nonsense!

The so-called friends of Allan Kyerematen are as childish as the man they support.
Clearly, the author of the article has come up with good reasons why Mr. Kyerematen should advice himself. Please, friends of Allan, beat the writer with superior reasoning, not spurious insults.
It seems to some of us who are onlookers, that, Allan, like one or two recently elected national Executive Officers of the N. P. P., are paid N D C agents. They are paid to destabilize N. P. P.
The N D C is fully aware, that numerically, the N P P will always beat them. So, they rely on
(a) disloyal members of the N.P.P
(b) foreigners from Togo,Burkina,
and neighbouring countries,
and (c) other crude strategies
including bribing unpatriotic
public servants, judges,
electoral commission staff,
etc.
to get the vote they require to win political power.

Clearly, this is a useless akyem acticle that does not represents a genuine concern by a true NPP supporter, neither does it represents a well meaning ghanaian who wants to see our beloved country moved on. What is he saying? Do the NPP need a winnerable candidate to come to power to govern and make ghana a better place for all of us to live, or just a serial loser who is seen as a party loyalist? Since when would the party continue to hero worshipped nana addo and stay in oppossition forever? Come to think of it mates, the fortunes of the party is deminishing and we need to present a candidate who will appeal to people outside our base, but not a candidate we shall be forced to defend during campaign instead of selling our message.
The writer claims hes not NPP nor NDC voter and yet he exposes his dumb brain when he says,"DOES ALAN THINKS WE ARE FOOLS AND HE CAN USE US HOW HE LIKES TO FURTHER HIS AMBITION TO BE LEADER REGARDLESS OF WHAT LEADER HE IS". I WILL URGE ALL TRUE SUPPORTERS AND WELL MEANING GHANAIANS TO ALLOW FAIR COMPETETION TO PREVAIL IN ALL OUR NATIONAL LIFE SO THAT WE CAN GET THE BEST OF OUR HUMAN RESOURCES TO LEAD AND MOVE OUR COUNTRY FORWARD, AND STOP HERO WORSHIPPING INDIVIDUALS WHO HAS JUST THEIR PERSONAL AMBITIONS AND INTEREST TO BECOME PRESIDENTS.

By all means, let Allan run. It is his prerogative. N.P.P. is a democratic party so anyone who considers himself qualified may make a decision.
What bothers us is the unnecessary noise and the foolish talk. For instance if for loosing TWO TIMES, according to Allan, Nana Addo must not run again, then, after losing N.P.P. primaries TWO TIMES, Allan must also not try again.
We do enjoy intelligent argument and debate. We cannot get these from Allan Kyerematen and his disloyal friends.
Remember, the most important attribute required of political party members is LOYALTY - UNFLINCHING LOYALTY.
Truly, there are more loyal N.D.C. party members than there are N.P.P. party members. Allan is a disloyal party member.

Well spoken. look, all those giving names and attachments, it is up to them. This piece of writing is exactly what I think. You have spoken my mind and the minds of all the people I have come across on this Alan topic. Alan is a fine man, for the fact that he was K4's choice means he was my man, but I bet you, he has lost touch of it. Alan has not gotten what it takes to be a leader now. He has messed up with the fine opportunity Daddy K4 gave him. Daddy K4 I'm sorry, but your man is not a leader. His utterances are boring and discouraging. He better support Nana either to win or lose 2016 peaceably to wipe the mess in his face. Inside him I see guilt, which is not making him come up well on issues. He better learn from Daddy K4, even if it stinks he smiles. That is the fine gentleman Ghana will always miss. My regards to Papa Jerry, Daddy K4 and My brother Mahama. To add to this Mahama was a fine gentleman I expected him to perform, why is the people around him causing him to fail so miserably? He is a soft type, so he should have chosen a hard man as his vice. I'm sorry for him. Ghana is falling off his hands. Peace and bravo to the author of this article!

Of course, the choice is Alan's. He can bow out voluntarily or be bowed out by voters during the primaries. If I were him I would bow out now and work towards pairing up with Dr. Bawumia when Nana Akufo Addo completes his term as President. Alan is good material, but his best bet is to become Vice President under Bawumia before becoming president subsequently. I can see Nana winning the Presidency in 2016 and handing over to Bawumia after one term. If Alan plays his cards well, he can be Bawumia's running mate. The two would be a formidable team and a good team for Ghana. Alan should be wise and know that it is too soon after Kufuor to have another Ashanti President. The Fanti card is a losing card and must not be played by him. Help Nana now, join Bawumia later and become President eventually. That is the path he must tread if he knows what is good for him.

When the day came in 2000 President Kufuor won 56 % hands down, and ndc was drowned by ghanaians. Then came 2008 ndc won by 50 + 1 not even 51% but 50+ 1% then 2012 ndc won by the same marging but they talk like they ever won elections by 60 or more % in ghana, ndc, learn something and know that your victories in elections are all most defeat because of the % you get to win elections , they are too slim to rejoice over and think you can be in power forever.Come 2016 whether rain or shine npp will be in power.Akan regions come together because you are the most hurt in ndc in government to vote them out.Are your kids having government scholarships as before during Nkrumah's time and after? Are your kids among those medical students in Cuba? Is the NHIS working good in your areas? The money that ghana has come's from your resources and these people are using them at your disadvantage to enrich themselves and to make you poor and needy, NDC is anti - akan and anti-Ghana those akans following this party are greedy bastards who need's to be castrated.Come together and let us vote them out in 2016 as we did in 2000 for better living conditions, lets think for our generation today and unborn as our forefathers did for us.Long live Akans, long live Ghana

The party has more work to do and once that work is done any person the party select will win the general elections. Let us focus on putting the party in shape rather than wasting our time on a spent horse who has wasted our time and given this useless NDC the opportunity to run down our country. NPP should forget about Nana Addo and look up to the The New Executives and in my opinion Nana should also be punished like Jake and Sir John for not given us power on two occasions. I don't think he is better than the two. His popularity is an empty one, it cannot yield any useful result, mark it on the wall come December 2016.

I think Alan is jumping the ship. My question to him is which constituency in Ghana does he belong? I know he is a registered voter in Ghana but can he claim that constituency as his? Alan should get a constituency and contest to WIN the seat and enter parliament before he ever thinks of becoming a presidential candidate to become President of Ghana; there is no short cut to the Presidency in Ghana. This is right thing to do, that is why applaud Daniel Kwaku Botwe for going to Okere to contest to go to parliament. I will not be surprised if in the near future Dan Botwe contests for the flagbearership of NPP and wins the nomination because he will get a constituency to support him. This Alan lacks and which he should consider first. As far as I am concerned Alan had contested on only two election within NPP and in both he lost. This is not the time for experiment for NPP, it is the time to win and come 2016, they should not fail.

This is not an insult, kay boy, but a reality. I was talking about constituency and Ashanti and Central could not be considered as constituencies but regions. Whatever constituency he belongs in any of the two regions as you have stated, leaves him the option to test his popularity by contesting in that constituency and enter parliament that is the only way he will get a political base to rely on in his bid to lead this country. There is no short cut to the presidency.

My fellow Ghanaians,
When are you going to stop the politicians from using tribe as a diversionary tool (from incompetence) and a divisive tool?
We are all want a better Ghana. When the politicians lack no substance to campaign on, they play the tribal nonsense: Adze wo ofie 3ye got us no where; Northern administration gave us GYEEDA,SADA nonsense and a return to IMF.
Y3n Akanfuo was Nana's foray into the gutter and Kufuor's abusua approach is what is dividing the NPP. Rawlings and Awoonor exposed Ewes to tribal accusations.
Listen, we are all Ghanaians and we love Ghana. Let's go after competence. Bawumia's appeal is his competence not Mahama's appeal to ethnicity.
Let's wise up Ghana and put our best team to run the country without favor of any ethnicity.

We all hope that Alan will see things clear and refrain from causing chaos within the party by forcing people to believe that he's a better presidential candidate than Nana Akufo-Addo who has clearly been cheated twice in the elections. Nana is not only brave; he's smart and visionary too. He's as well humble, esp. when the NDC useda all sorts of dirty tricks to destroy him, he didn't respond with any dirty words. Instead he's kept his cool and have always won the hearts of Ghanaians. He's been in the fore-front fighting for the suffering masses in Ghana; he's the "Kume Preko" march championing for the cause of the down-trodden in Ghana.
Alan on the other hand resigned from the NPP shortly when he lost to Nana in the 2007 flag-bearer race, in a congress where some of his aide were accused of bribery. He was persuaded by some elders of the NPP to rescind his decision so he re-joined the party.
Alan and his group shouldn't attempt to cause chaos within the party. The NPP needs to unite now, more than ever to rescue Ghana. NDC is trying all they can to hang on through propaganda and all kinds of dirty tricks. Alan and his friends should be smart.
