With an internationally confirmed marijuana smoker as flag bearer, a convicted drug offender as national chairman, a former MP serving 20 years for heroin trafficking, a former national chairman who served 8 years in the US for cocaine smuggling, etc Ghanaians cannot make the mistake of letting NPP anywhere near the reigns of power.

We shall give NPP 100 years to reform their mentality and appreciate that money is not the end of the world and that it is better to work for it instead of resorting to dubious ways of getting it.

Besides, NPP members should know that God's ten commandments are still applicable. Just imagine how they lie just to tarnish the image of the JM government? How about the terrible stealing under Kufuor: from government lands to Ghana Airways and Ghana Telecom! And even Kufuor was sleeping with prostitutes abroad and got twins with an Iranian beauty. As for Kufuor's Minister of Health, he attended an AIDS conference and impregnated a prostitute and got a son in the process. He had to steal hundreds of thousands of dollars to remit to her, yet Kufuor never sacked him!

Whatever faults NDC may have, Ghana is a trillion times better off under them than the NPP.

Former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang- Rawlings, has criticized the leadership of the nation for their penchant for materialism and wealth.

She said the current state of greed, selfishness, corruption and the lack of patriotic attitude of those in office and that of the average Ghanaian, was a disincentive to nation building.

It is positive to dream of riches and a comfortable life – a house, car, holidays and all items of comfort. But do you have to abuse the system through bribery, corruption, under-hand dealings and white-collar theft?” the Former First Lady asked.

Addressing the Social Sciences Society of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), at an awards’ ceremony in Kumasi, Nana Agyemang-Rawlings entreated all and sundry to strive to demonstrate a high sense of patriotism in their endeavours.

“Our country is gradually excavating a path that will adversely affect future generations, because quality is now always sacrificed in favour of inferiority, and this canker is festering like a cancer across all sections of our society," she stated.

The dislodgement of Aliu from leading the party in 2008 is still fresh in the minds of notherners. The party has a long way to convince northerners to believing that they do not use northerners just for political gains. This trend is deeply embbeded in the Akan strategy. I wonder, if John Mahama was ruling as an NPP president, will npp party leaders call him pepeni or say that he is fit to herd cattle and not governing the country? I am not a Prophet of doom, but please watch out. The activities of ex-President Kufuor must be monitored seriously. He could destroy the party. With avowed dislike for Akufo Addo, and masses who are chanting NO NANA NO VOTE, there is a problem for the Party. Could there be a third for the Party before the 2016 elections? If Mr Afoko will lead from the front by example through relentless honesty,hard work and show a real love for this country and its people then HE WILL GO VERY VERY FAR INDEED. NPP might just pull it off in 2016. The Akans - only image of the NPP has just suffered serious body blow. In fact l am really impressed for the sophisticated nature of the over 5000 delegates who participated in the congress for their dynamic nature. It is now time for the newly elected executives to make sure that the face of the NPP as a party is changed and the perception of the party being an Akan party which is as a result of the utterances of the party leaders right from the Presidential candidate to the least elected executives. Please be wise in electing the new presidential candidate for the party if you really want to make an impact in 2016 general election and if possible win the general election. Once again, be wise the newly elected executives!

With our God-giving advantages,the GDP/capita of less than $2000.00 is laughable.Ghana is a laughing stock.
Guinea Bissau is far better off than Ghana.These are the economic indices:Popu=1.66m(Gh=25m).Inflation=1.60(Gh=14.50%).Interest Rate=3.50%(Gh=18.00%).Govt Debt= -2.30(Gh= -10.20).Govt Debt to GDP=17.70%(Gh=44.90%)
So why would John Mahama call for international SOS for them instead of Ghana(Popu of 25m v 1.66m)?
He does not know.
In the age of the www......com,nobody should spill out hollow outbursts like John Mahama is doing.With all the EXPERTS surrounding him?
