A house divided can never stand this the root cause why NDC can never pool together the potential of the nation to effect sustainable development as without unity there can only be corruption and retrogression . in their so called winning strategy are the elements of their continuous failure as there is no true justice for the people , ultimately and paradoxically they dont see its their own people that will suffer the most and eventually disappear for the face of this planet as if they never were . Whats John Mahama forgets NDC executives are the government, the very people who made you lead them. NDC executives could have chosen a different leader but instead they elected John Mahama.
NDC national executives shouldnt be asking John Mahama before sacking a minister. But John Mahama forgot who put him there and doing things alone without consulting the very people who put him there as the president.

The energy current crisis was as a result of end time hardship which needs supernatural intervention to repair the Vail of the nation. Mahama does not want to work with people perceived to be more competent than him, because people would see the difference,and the credit will go to the competent appointee. The light off is not that Ghana gives light to neighbouring nations and that we go through light offs, but it is because Ghana is a nation that honours promises and aggrement she signs with other nations, a thing that God welcomes much in the lives of people.

There is a percent that Ghana has agreed with those nations to supply them without failure. The next major problem that Ghana faces is that Ghana is developing faster than those nations so our demand for light usuage is more than we ought to use. This is the major issue presently, but I believe with the present good efforts of the Mahama Govt in relation to light provision, in the long run there will be stable and enough supply of power.

You can see that the NDC government had borrowed monies to help expand the energy industry in Ghana, for example the constrution of the Abuoba Gas plant in the western region which when is completed will provide more energy and we shall no more find ourselves in the light offs that we experience now.

It is unfortunate that politics and tribalism had divided the minds of Ghanaians to the point that factual national issues become a political fallacy so that somebody will be confused and get angry with government over issues which needs unity, patience and coperation in order to bring all of us peace and development.

He cannot turn the Country around for growth and comfort with these bunch of confused, incompetent, and neophytic under-performers, many of whom only care about making their first Gazillion Dollars before their term ends.

There seems to be a certain sense of the President's impotence among these bratty, inept, and noisy nincompoops who are dragging all others down with them. Time is running out. The People's patience is fast waning.

When the People's rage erupts, no amount of guns, or sweet promises could tame them. Mahama must simply put his feet down to seek prosecution of his own corrupt Officials. He may have immunity from prosecution. But the others around him surely can't have any. And if our Justice System can handle their cases, we would be waiting to see many of them at The Hague, eventually.

Movements are under way to push The Hague to consider blatant, deep corruption that leads to needless deaths among People as crime against Humanity. So, if the thieving Politicians think they have our Judges in their stinky armpits, they could well wake up from a nightmare, eventually before stiff, unsympathetic Jury.

The attempt to malign the Akans in their party has also not been lost on the masses. This is what Prof. Ocquaye was talking about and numerous other examples abound. It's important Ghana rids itself of the NDC gov't which feeds on creating divisions, tribalism, ethnic bigotry and strife, to assume the reins of gov't to loot the country sending the generality of Ghanaians bonkers with the sheer scale of the thievery, in the midst of humongous crisis facing the country. I am not a fan of the NDC but no matter poorly the adminstration performs, some voters will vote for him since they have identified themselves with one party of inevitability. Even if Mahama does not win, a good number of people will still vote for him and that is the sad part of the equation with Ghanaians. If you are concerned with the lot of Ghanaians, please continue to fight for us regardless of the outcome of the next elections because Ghanaians have now demonstrated their weakling nature to the rest of the world and that is why we are losers and a few people are getting away with millions, knowing that there is no consequence or accountability to anything.

If he has done so objectively, no doubt, he would not have come to the conclusion that he plucked out of his head. People, who because of the importance they attach to the oil wealth, who have followed the minister's actions closely know that he has put out a very good performance in his work.

What is happening in Ghana, on the energy front, can't, wholly or in part, be blamed on the minister of energy. It emanates from a conglomeration of events; previous lack of investments for energy; the increase in population that has, ultimately, caused an increase in energy consumption; note, technological advancement has made the use of electrical equipment, like rice cookers, blenders. liquidisers, extractors, hair trimmers, electric razors, etc, not to mention music items, air conditions, fridges/deep freezers and televisions, indeed, the whole lot of electrical goods, rather than traditional items, in every Ghanaian household since they have found them more convenient and efficient. This, coupled with the extension of the electric-power grid to over 85% towns and villages of the country, has made our consumption of electricity very high and that has made people to phew when they have not got it. Also, we have the growth in industrial and economic activities which also feed on energy and many more energy consuming entities. The foundation of our energy requirement should be laid long ago. The effect of that negligence is the current problem; it will take every many effort and overseas financial and technical assistance to solve it. Dare I say that foolish were they who tried to thwart the construction of Akosombo dam in the 60s - they were visionless! Notwithstanding, subsequent gov'ts after Nkrumah's overthrow, equally, haven't done better in anticipating our future need of energy.

The Energy minister, on his part, has/is doing enough in his job. Many observers have found him efficient and tireless in discharging his duties. The witch-hunt must be stopped; people must be judged objectively.
