For the peoples of the civilized western nations, there are constraints to freedoms and or liberties. That is why speech that is false and acts that incites or likely to incite members of the public and or brings about panic and chaos are prohibited even under freedom of speech. And when people are found guilty of criminal mischief they are bound to lose their liberties. It is only in Ghana we get parents, family members and the larger society to worship criminals even as we fail to understand where they earn their so-called riches.

Wontumi's words are just a bluff to warn you of a likely action by the people he comes in contact with everyday on the streets who are suffering because of your government's actions and doings. Just add up all the monies you guys have stolen and stashed away in foreign banks which runs in the billions, and compare that with Wontumi's ulterances and figure out which is hurting Ghana more. Is it a mere 'I will do this if' or, we have done and still doing ( STEALING ) and mismanaging the economy of our dear country? Who should go to jail first, you guys or him? Any way Wontumi, mind the way you say things. An unintended idea could be misconstrued, twisted and interpreted to fit your enemies agenda. Antwi Boasiako was within his rights to criticize the ruling government, but to OPENLY call for the removal of the constitutional government through UNCONSTITUTIONAL means is treason.

This is no FREEDOM OF SPEECH matter and I'm glad nobody is referring to it as such.

The government has a responsibility to ensure citizens are free to go about their normal duties in a peaceful atmosphere devoid of intimidation. Any person who seeks to upset this balance has to be arrested, questioned and charged if necessary. He couldn't have done that even here in the US where he was, no wonder, a brainless security guard. The government, in allowing this to "slide" runs the risk of emboldening others to make more vitriolic, irresponsible remarks.

I'm not surprised the NPP hasn't condemned this guy's effusions because it's trademark has been violence from its inception. And by electing somebody irresponsible, uneducated, and inexperienced like Boasiako to an august position all because of money,the party doesn't have any conscience.
