DO YOU REALLY THINK THE STATE OF THE ECONOMY IS THE MAKING OF THE FINANCE MINISTER? THE ECONOMY WAS BAD WHEN HE TOOK OVER THE MINISTRY. HE AND OTHERS WERE SAYING THAT MORE MONEY WAS BEING THROWN AFTER WORKERS SALARIES AND LESS FOR DEVELOPMENT. I SHALL SAY IT AGAIN THAT LETTING MR. TERKPER GO WILL SOLVE WHAT AILS THE ECONOMY. TO BE OUT OF OUR FISCAL SITUATION NEEDS THE CONCERTED EFFORT OF ALL, NOT JUST THE FINANCE MINISTER. TUC MUST DO THE MATH AND COMPARE THE SUM OF PUBLIC SALARY NOW COMPARED TO A FEW YEARS AGO AND DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT IT IS TAKING MORE OF GHANA'S RESOURCES.

The President should know that his problem started from the time the total removal of petroleum subsidies was implimented. This policy was raised during time of late ATTA but he objected to it and everything was on going well, and that made you to come to power. Since from the time you accept to the implimentation of this policy you can give verdit to yourself on the economie. Petroleum product goes up, everything goes up. Mr. President, shine your eye, and listen to the people. Two heads is better than one.

Oh please, as not fit for the job as our finance minister may be, he is just a typical example of any NDC minister. But he is at least a honest person though that does not mean he should remain at post. Which person at any post within the government is doing any thing good? They are all the same arrogant, clueless talkatives like their leader so now only Terkper is to blame? The solution my dear Ghanaians is to uproot them all from power come 2016 that is if Ghana remains sovereign and not already bought by a country like Serbia. Tweaaaaaa

Kowledgeable media, members of the opposition and other persons in societies such as business people should help raise concerns and continue to do so. This is not to undermine the government but to make it known that only with everyone being transparent and communicating the issues will Ghana overcome this.
NDC have never been good economic managers but that does not mean that Ghanaians should wish for failure on Tekper IF he is willing to listen and take on board some of the issues that are identified by those who have sound knowledge of the issues.

When the NDC got into gov't in 2009 and were looting helter-skelter under the aegis of then Vice President Mahama as the head of the economic management team, I guess it never dawned on them that a day was coming, when the reckless thievery and looting was going to leave the finances and the economy of the country high and dry and in the ditch, for it to be described that, all the meat has been chewed and left with the bones. The day of reckoning would surely come insha allah, at the ballot box.
