this is the time for the andanis to pay back ku4 and the npp for killing their yana and 40 others. why is it that anytime the up/pp/npp tradition is in power, dagombas have to lose their paramount chief and subjects? under evil and demonic dr abrefa busia, between 1969 and 1971, dagombas were slaughtered like chickens in the same gbewaa palace in yendi, including the then yana andani. one wonders what is it that they gain from the killings of these innocent Ghanaians. Ghanaians should mark it, the next time they gain power again, the slaughtering of the next yana and his followers will happen again. are they doing that for ritual purposes or what? I am sorry for dagombas who have been following these vampires sheepishly without thinking of what will happen to them the next. I wish andanis will mobilize themselves and give bloody ku4 and co the beatings of their lives whilst in tamale in the coming days. the police should not waste their time and energy on the elephants for they don't respect them at all. if they have respect for the police, a stupid fool like sir john would not have gotten the gust to tell Ghanaians that they would not allow the police to investigate the motor accident involving another stupid northerner, bawumia, following them sheepishly because they did not trust the police and that they would conduct their own investigation. never heard of a general secretary of a political party so stupid and twerp like this sir john man. he talks as if his head is full of water like a water melon.

PRESS CONFERENCE BY RICHARD KWESI NYAMAH ON ANNUAL DELEGATES CONFRENCE OF THE NPP
Ladies and gentlemen of the media, I have invited you today to address some urgent concerns I have on the annual delegate’s conference which the elections committee failed to address. I have no option but to resort to addressing Ghanaians and if these concerns are not looked at after this press conference I may have to resort to more drastic measures.
First and foremost, the decision by the elections committee not to allow us the contestants to address the delegates in Tamale is totally unacceptable and unconstitutional and if the party insists on going ahead, I may consider the option of placing an injunction on the elections.
My reasons are simple; the party has always allowed contestants to sell their messages to delegates even if it is for a minute. It has never happened, not with my knowledge that a national delegate’s conference has been held without addresses by candidates. The explanation of time constraints does not wash and time will have to be made by any means necessary.
Ladies and gentlemen, two people cannot impose their will on over 5,000 delegates going to Tamale to vote. The delegate’s conference is going to the Northern region for the first time and delegates will be travelling from across the country and indeed the world over to be addressed by those they wish to lead them. Some of us have not had the opportunity to address everyone and to deny us that opportunity especially when the precedent has been to address delegates is nothing short of an election already prepared and delivered.
To this effect, I am engaging other aspirants to present a united voice to prevent this charade of an election in the making. Secondly, I call on all delegates to refuse to be part of a process where they won’t be allowed to know who they vote for. The NPP was built on the sweat and blood of our forefathers who sacrificed their lives for the party.
I therefore call on the elections committee to rescind its decision not to allow us to address the delegates because I have only my ideas and confidence to sell to the delegates and not money. Failure to do so, I will proceed to court to place an injunction on the elections or lead a demonstration in Tamale in protest.
NORTHERN YOUTH LOSING CONFIDENCE IN THE PARTY
I also wish to request as a matter of urgency an immediate statement from the party leadership before the conference to address the faith of NPP youth in the northern region who have either been incarcerated or killed as in Yahuza Yakubu, Abibu Dagbana, Majeed Alhassan, Alhassan Sayibu and Imoro Gundaana and just recently Abdul Naziru of Khandaha. The leadership of the party after several petitions of which I have been involved, have failed to address the concerns of these foot soldiers who have put their lives on the line in the name of the party and who seem abandoned. But for the singular involvement of Nana Obiri Boahene, who provided free legal aid to these gallant foot soldiers, they would have simply been forgotten.
As we currently speak, the majority of the party youth in Tamale has been chased out by security forces and have gone into hiding. After several appeals on the back of a press conference and a demonstration in 2011 in Tamale to address their incarceration, not much has been heard of the party leadership in this direction.
The silence of the party on their faith is deafening and a demotivation for the youth in the region to fight for the party. I therefore call for a statement from the party outlining these concerns as to how the party will address this issue or I intend to mobilize the youth of the region to boycott the elections and hit the street during the program. The foot soldiers of the party need to feel being part of the party in both good times and in bad times.
Ladies and gentlemen, the NPP needs to have its glorious days of sacrifice back. We are in opposition and money should not be our motivation but rather wining power. Ghanaians will not forgive us next time if we fail to win the elections. We will however not win when we spend our huge resources outdoing each other in internal contest which leaves the vanquished bitter and outdone and cheated. This will not bring unity and if there is no unity, there can’t be victory.
