Nobody can hide the light and true destiny of the great nation of Akan. they use all kinds of schemes and tricks to undermine or deny a proper standard to us but we shall never surrender. we shall change and adapt as like the Israelis we are the chosen people of God and he in his great design has made us diverse but unified in spirit. the ashantis like the tribe of Judah are and will remain an integral part of our being to to attack any one part we all end up feeling it sooner or later. they have succeed in turning some of our chiefs and kings against us and work for their evil ungodly agenda but we still see clearly . God has brought us into the 21st century and with that a new system of governance and state of mind based on democracy since it is HE alone who blesses the individuals with the gift of leadership wisdom and justice irrespective of status at birth. he has shown us the blue print of the way forward in the bible and other holy books and the time has come to free ourselves from this man made bondage called Ghana. just as in the Ukraine we must fight so the truth will come out , fear not the battle as they will crumble like the walls of Jericho . cast away our so called fake leaders and politicians who are nothing but cowards and like our enemies fear even their own shadows . yes God has put a million fears in their empty bodies as he who does not fear the Lord , the Lord will ensure all fears of the world will reside in him. They threaten us with superstition , juju and what have you and we say fuck you and go to hell as the divine power is with us . Yes all the tribes of Akan are fingers on the same hands and God has ordained we remain united so our strength and light will be visible throughout the whole world and universe , our time has come . everyday its becoming clearer and clearer to all children of Akan that we must prepare mentally for a battle of freedom . they come with tricks that say we must take a non Akan as our leader because its nice ? do they not think that out of 30 million Akans we can not find sensible down to earth leaders and warriors to lead our own people to our own destiny? a govt of the people and by the people is what the 21st century democracy is all about . let them continue to play with the consensus and other figures that justify their fantasy and enable them to marginalize the participation of the Akan majority in the Affairs of their own land , to marginalize us thus preventing us to afford a better standard for our people . The had of God has given them pestilence after pestilence but they refuse to let our people go , soon they will be swept away like chaff in the hurricane of fury . Long live the republic of Akan and don't you forget it as now the Fanti speakers, Twi speakers, Ashantis and other tribes of Akan are now one .

This Fortiz/Merchant bank deal deal from all indications is putrid, it stinks to the high heavens and nothing can justify such an atrocious deal, when Ghanaian taxpayers, from all indications are not getting any VALUE FOR MONEY in this stinking deal. Omane Boamah, MD should seek to explain why an equity firm which cannot even boast of the asset base to even acquire a non-financial banking license, should be made to take on this onerous task of not even a merger, but a full complete acquisition of Merchant bank, when Ghanaian taxpayers, have been offered far, far better VALUE FOR MONEY propositions from identifiable bodies with a portfolio of assets eclipsing over 100 billion dollars? It is indeed mindboggling the level of impunity and recklessness which has been unleashed on the affairs on governance by this NDC gov't. Ghana indeed deserves better than this recklessness which is permeating all facets of governance in this country. It's awfully pathetic.

Remember the Arab Spring happened because a University graduate who was reduced to selling legumes(due to unemployment) on the street was maltreated by the police leading to this poor guy setting himself on fire. This unfortunate event became possible without any planning because of the public's frustration with the prevailing hardships and corruption in the country. And this is exactly what is happening in Ghana. The government rather, must be charged with treason, for denying Ghanaians of our rights and the promises they made to us.

Ghanaians cannot be suffering unduly under the NDC gov't when oil is flowing waa waa in the country, with the monies being looted left and right to the point that in the last 3 months of 2012, over $4billion dollars cannot be accounted for, when it's estimated that this staggering amount could solve over dumsor dumsor crisis, our water crisis, build over 6000SHS's, 15000km of first class roads and this capitation thing is basically a ploy to deny the Ashanti region, quality healthcare leading to eventual deaths.

He must know that Arab Spring, largely, is acceptable in a dictatorial environment. We are not under a dictatorship. The failure of our
Opposition to win Elections to change the Politicians ruling does not call for any such chaotic demonstrations like the Arab Spring.

Wontumi's approach indicates his lack of appreciation of a democratic system, and seems to be born out of sheer impatience and even intolerance.

The Constitution allows for only an Election to change a Government. Even if we succeed to legally force the Government to resign with Demonstrations, the next Government can only come to Power via Elections that cannot bar the incumbent NDC candidates from contesting.

So, the call for Arab Spring in Ghana is a mute point. Besides, all is not glossy in those countries where Arab Spring erupted to make the process any appealing as a model for Ghana to copy.

Whether Wontumi likes it or not he cannot bypass the Elections to effect any change of Government without causing treason. Period!

What positive action have we taken except talking to express our displeasure with the widening gap between the rich and the poor, gross nepotism and cronyism and the incompetence and crass performance of the administration's appointees? Just talk! When shall we by our positive action remind the president that he is the president of Ghana not just for "some" ghanaians? It's time to remind the President ghanaians did not vote him into office to equalize or exarcebate the follies of any previous administration.
Mahama, perhaps the only time he has been right in my estimation on any issue is when he said "ghanaians have short memories". We talk and soon forget about what was being talked about without seeing any changes. Soon after we pick another sensitive issue for our talking point and before long drop it like a piece of red hot iron. People, it's time to keep talking on the same unresolved issue and go beyond the talking until changes are effected. This is how change comes about, in every political era. The evils of our society will continue unabated until we demonstrate that they are not tolerable any longer .

If you think you can win an election why do call for a spring whilest in Ghana we have elections every four years.
