Ghana is turning into a basket case. What has to work, doesn't work, and what should not work, takes hold.
I don't know how far that is true, but I am told that Hannah Bissew has declared that quotas will be issued to importers of frozen products, with such quotas limited to 100 tons maximum per year for the big timers, while the small importers will be allocated 50 tons per year. Now, granted there are 25 tons per container (some take 27 tons), that will be 4 containers per year of poultry products allocated to an importer. What that small quantity will do for a country that relies heavily on imported frozen poultry, bugs the mind. If that statement is true, then what this creates is an artificial shortage which ultimately will raise prices of imported poultry in the country for consumers.
If that directive is accurate, then there is something very wrong with the psyche of our politicians.

Again more stupidity at leadership in our country. Someone wants 10% before they would clear them.

So, just contact teh owners to get their paperwork and clearance issues resolved in 1 working week else goods will be destroyed and containers returned. If they have the luxury of providing free storage or are being paid to store the items, then there is no case. It is common fact that bribery is rife at the ports so the owners should raise this up in a formal letter to Adam Ayama and copy office of the president with the threat of publicising all communications with secret recording. Looks like everyone is doing that to bring officials in check. Just like secret Stasi.

Where are the DR.S.B.Arthurs in Ghana now ? The former 2nd deputy speaker of
parliament single handedly ordered and supervised the evacuation and distribution of pharmaceuticals that was wasting time at Tema Port due to the stupidity of the authorities involved to every regional hospital in Ghana and saved lives as well as gaining the recognition of the President. Is Ghana so empty of bold and intelligent people like Dr.S B.Arthur ?
Lord have mercy on our nation Ghana.

Am getting sick and tired of our leaders and their uselessness. No problem is getting solved. Even the one under their own noses don't get attention.
