This is undoubtedly one of many such actions gov't has taken that suggest clearly we have a "headless' gov't with only greedy people eager to fill their pockets on the backs of the people they should serve. Gov't knows what it has to do right, but it is only sheer wickedness and greed, and a senseless lust for and hold on to political power that sometimes makes them behave like idiots.

Imcompetence at it best. What we are observing in our constituency is a result of imcompetence of our so called MP'S and Chief executives. These people simply don't know or understand their roles in our societies. While the goverment or those in authority may have failed to communicate with them in regards to the planned closure of the bridge does not stop or spare them from asking questions and beign proactive about the best plan they think can serve their constituents well. I'm sure the MP's in the area knew about the eminent closure of the bridge for repair works so the question is, What did they do to make sure there was a smooth transition from regular bridge crossing to pantton crossing? If they cared enough about their people, they would have formed a coalition of MP's in the affected area(Okujato Ablakwa NDC, Osei Ameyaw NPP and the rest) to ask questions in paliamnet and they could have even gone to the Ghana highway authority to demand answers and plan with them to make sure everything was in order before the closure. My peoples livelihood is seriously in danger because of this closure and no one seems to care. One thing these people have to know is that, beign an MP is not only about the title, it's not about walking around with the honorable title and walking aroung as if you are bigger than God and the people who voted to get you where you are. It's really about hard work, Beign an MP means working so hard to beat all odds to position your people well for upward mobility. It means sitting down to think about all possible ways to better the lives of your people. It means beign creative and beign practical. It means bringing people with great ideas together to help do great things that has never been done before to help advance the lives of those you serve. Our MP's need to wake up.

In any case why cant all light vehicles be allowed to use the Kpong dam? For this I am expecting some half-baked "expert" to say that would be dangerous for the dam.
