The Kuffuor led Maladroit government promised the world of a new Ghana cedi will gain value when pegged with the dollar, what we have now is not what was promised.Nothing was put in place by this illiterate Bawumia and his Kookoase economic gurus to sustain the parity of the cedi with other major currency.

When you do monetization, it means you have deliberately pegged your currency to the major ones with the hope that it's value will cope or improve.

Having this, we expected the BOP to improve through prudent economic policies but Bawumia's Dagati economic policies coupled with that of Koookoase bush meat economics only saw more importation of rice from india when Ghana could have invested in agriculture to produce own rice.And so, Bawumia should not think Ghanaians are illiterate as he is.

At this stage of our economic development, the only way is to borrow but invest the borrowing wisely into productive activities such as what the current government is doing.

That said, Bawumia should stop his Dagati economics as these days even the Kookoase opposition npp MP's are well awake.

I do not support the killings at that time considering I had a family member amongst them but JJ should be giving sme credit considering he held this country in one piece and there were development. He wasn't corrupt but the people around him were and that's why we tend to point fingers at him. The corruption level after Ghana transitioned to a democratic country during JJs time as compared to his predecessors was about 15% to no 85%. S le him have his peace. He really did what he had to do and yes the fear he put in Ghanaians worked. Today corruption in Ghana is like a job,from the president to the lower level employers everyone is corrupt and that's why we still in this state. Even pastor are corrupt and fake. So I happened to gain a job at Valco, Tema, where I happened to have a voltarian as my immediate boss. On the first day of resuming work, he called me to his office. I became afraid and deeply worried. He asked me to sit down and it took me about three minutes. To my surprise, I was in his office when one of his tribal man came for a very urgent case. He asked him to wait OUTSIDE. In fact, this surprised me and that my courage stared restoring. He now gave me orientation. And one thing he told me about Ewes generally is that "We Ewes are very hardworking and impartial, although individual differences also exits". That made me to understand when I was told that Mr. Impart. was calling me, where "Mr. Impart" meant Mr. Impartiality. To summarize it all, my eleven years under this man can no longer be found in my life. He really treated me the way my own tribal man can never. He was a very objective, time-conscious, punctual (despite his notable position), strict, religious, self-judgmental, impartial, and among all; a highly concerned man. Until you approach someone, you will always have bad impression depending on what his enemies circulate about him/her. Meticulous and accountable as he was, his change of job to SSNIT was a total blow to the entire staff which marked my first day in life seeing an old man (Ga man for that matter), cried beyond imagination. This in turn, made him also cried. In fact, his nature touched many. Mt. Impart could only love you if you are impartial, believing that we are all from the same God and see no reason why some should be valued that the other because one thing or the other. Anyone who hated this man simply meant that he was a partial person and that one would bring a large margin between you and him. Unlike we the Ashantis who always believe in shortcuts, Ewes are real hardworking people. We only like gentility but very lazy. Look at many pastors in the country disgracing the Ashantis. I am not saying this because I have married an Ewe woman, it is rather what made me to marry her. Having spent three years in her hometown - Ho, I have discovered so much that their women are VERY VERY FAITHFUL in marriage and that their parents hardly allow them to marry Non-Ewe. Having brought her to my region, she spent more than two years before choosing a close friend after seeking my acceptance. Please, let get closer to people before passing judgement. Thank you.

Can he tell Ghanaians where he got the money to educate his children in the UK and built himself the house at Ajirigano where he has refused to claim ownership till today. Rawlings should realise that he Killed those generals because they were our leaders at that time and were blamed for whatever went wrong. If he is not corrupt he should condemn Mahama the same way he did to Atta Mills as Mahama's adminstration is more corrupt than his predecessor. He should spare us this nonsense and bow his head in shame if he has any sense of dignity left in him.

Well, doesn't it sound like a man seeking some form of absolution? He might as well go down on his knees and ask for forgiveness. It may probably not bring him any peace but, at least, it will be a starting point for reconciliation.
And talking about corruption, no one need remind him that when he staged the coup in June of 1979, he was a lean flight lieutenant who couldn't have weighed more than 120 pounds, and was riding a raggedy motorcycle trailed by smoke. He doesn't look that way today, or does he? And I don't know what productive activity he has engaged in since 1979 that precipitated his current riches. Maybe, he can tell us.
