You can't blame them if there is no mkt for their products,there shd be conscious effort by the govt thru policies to make them survive.Free shoes shd be added to free school uniforms to create more mkt for them.

I guess we don't get it -- what has changed to make the factory, perhaps the "Knight Ghana Limited" part? Doing the same thing over and over again does not change the outcome. Anything with government involvement does not work, especially the Ghana government. Even the Chinese and the Russians whom Nkrumah tried to mimic have realized that and now put more focus on the private sector. I will keep my fingers crossed for them but I think I have seen this movie before.

"Yes!" said his adventurous girlfriend.

And as he gets up to 200, she peeled off all her clothes.

Unable to keep his eyes on the road, the car skidded onto some gravel and flipped over. The naked girl was thrown clear, but he was jammed beneath the steering wheel.

"Go and get help!" he cried.

"But I can't. I'm naked and my clothes are gone!"

"Take my shoe", he said, "and cover yourself."

This factory brings into focus the enormous damage the american CIA supported february,1966 coup of Afrifa and Kotoka has done to Ghana.If all the factories Osagyefo established had not been abandoned by the NLC government of Afrifa the economy of Ghana would have been far better than it is now.These abandoned factories would certainly have created jobs for some of our unemployed graduates and non-graduates.

Many shoemakers in USA,CANADA,BRITAIN,HUNGARY,SPAIN,GERMANY ETC,who were into CLASSIC SHOEMAKING,are all gone under,after the 2008 recession.

Many shoemakers in USA,CANADA,BRITAIN,HUNGARY,SPAIN,GERMANY ETC,who were into CLASSIC SHOEMAKING,are all gone under,after the 2008 recession.
If you guys are very serious,you can make it really big,entering the QUALITY CLASSIC SHOE MANUFACTURING,in the phase of our CHEAPER LABOUR FORCE.
These are my suggestions:

Use both SHELL CORDOVAN,KANGAROO & CALF-SKIN LEADER FOR THE PRODUCTION.
Train tanners in CHICAGO,USA.
Produce such styles like:
BLOCHER,BUDAPESTER WITH BROGUE,DERBY,OXFORDS,WIN-TIPS,CAP-TOE & PLAIN-TOE SHOES.
The sole should be DOUBLE(THICK) LEADER.
EYELET : 5 & 6.

You guys could go a long way,if you target the international market,rather than the WEST AFRICAN alone,should you step your quality up,to international level.
I will come to your factory soon,when I come to Ghana.
I will show you about 10 different classic shoes I use.
Because of their quality,I have used some for 21 years,but still look as new.

First of all,RED MEAT is not all that good for consumption,and the worst is the SKIN.
Because it contains BAD CHOLESTEROL.
We rather have to process(tarn) the SKINS OF THESE ANIMALS,BUT NOT EAT THEM.
The government has to lunch a means to educate our cattle farmers and butchers,as well,on the rewards in tanning these leaders.
It can promote local business and discourage importation of leader into the country.
LET'S TARN THE LEADER IN GHANA,AND STOP ITS IMPORTATION.
