We seem to shower our attention on Dr. Nkrumah. Well that is not bad.

We must not discount the contribution of Dr Joseph Boakye Danquah and others. Danquah's work "the constitution of Akyem Abuakwa" convinced the Africans, the British and the world at large that the people of Ghana (Gold Coast) were ready for self government.

As one of the few African members of the legislative assembly he vehemently opposed the British decision to setup only one university for British West Africa in Nigeria. His action led to the decision to setup the University of Ghana - Legon.

All this was before Nkrumah came to the scene. But we must also not forget the immense contribution Nkrumah made.

He also got China admission to the UNITED NATIONS. He was the best politician ever out of Africa. Fought the Portuguese, French, English and every colonizer and dislocated it.

The West called him a dictator, due to his brain power, oratory, vision and influence over other African countries was unprecedented for an African. There will be none like him for a very long time.

What is the distortion you are talking about.The UGCC had begun negotiations for Ghanas independence by the the UGCC, but they felt Dr Kwame NKRUMAH should be invited from England to come and take the general secretary appointment to intensify their quest for Independence, but he highjacked their vision of peaceful engagements with whites as a sprigboard with his position as a general secretary and begun shouting freedom now,freedom now to build an empire for himself to undermind the people who invited him for the negotiation of Ghanas independence ,and this culminated in the near civil war in the country.Do not sight South Africa nor Australias case for that had a different perspective.It may be recalled the late Houphet Boanyi of the Republic of the Ivory coast and Dr K.A. Bussia suggested that there should be peaceful engagement with the white sttlers not war but Nkrumah and some of his half cooked polititians disagreed and that naccessitated the imprisonment of Nelson Mandella for 27years,but with time, after the cold war and seemmingly peaceful engagement,Mr Nelson Mandella was released to become the first black president in south Africa.Mr Kojo T should not write what he does no know,since Nkrumah was not the pioneer of the fight for political independence for Ghana

Akufo is now too old for the NPP and for everybody in Ghana. He is unhealthy in body and mind. He is an "all die be die" tribalist and a divider. Akufo Addo is a deceitful charlatan; he claims to have a university law dedree when, actually, he has none at all. He is a complete failure in live. He has been trying, since 2008, to be the president of Ghana but has allways failed.

No one trusts, or should trust this little crook with a big arrogarce any more. Akufo Addo suffers from a psychological disease called napoleonic syndrome. His perceptions are totally distorted. It is hard for any thinking person to understand why a big NPP with a big potential always allows a small man with a small brain to be a big obstacle in its way.
