Let no one deceive you that Japan, Latin America and China are not praying. The fact is that prayer is not a thing of Hippocrates. How do you know if Bill Gates pray or not? Bill Gates will not come publicly to inform you that he prays.
The reason why most of our leaders fail is that of comparison when they feel to do as others do without engaging themselves in their own way.
We cannot do without praying and asking God to lead the way. If our fathers have aligned themselves with God, maybe our prayers may have been few but they didn't. It is up to us to build that relationship with God.

The Lord will be vacationing in Japan—where technology is at its zenith.

We have only HYPOCRITICAL bunch of Negroes down there. They include our politicians, government officials and workers, the police, Judges, lawyers, traders (large & small shops), farmers, fishermen, students, Christians, moslems, priests, pastors, etc., etc., etc—all committing crimes, stealing, cheating, fornicating, etc. AND THAT'S WHY WE'RE NOT GETTING ANYWHERE THROUGH PRAYERS.

We're not HONEST, we're LIARS, THIEVES, CORRUPT, BACK-STABBERS, GREEDY, ENVIOUS, JEALOUS and every vice you can think of under GOD’S SUN.

Yet, the clueless, visionless, corrupt and incompetent politicians have created a block of laws that prohibit any Ghanaian with foriegn passport to hold elected office in Ghana.
The local Ghanaian Politician is greedy and corrupt, has no vision and the know how to build a nation. He bribes his way to get elected only to milk the nation to enrich him/herself.
The foreign Ghanaian who have acquired the brain and the know how is barred to hold any political office. So what good is it for our nation Ghana?
The local Politician has to clue, no vision and don't have the brian. But they have hold on to all powers to barr the Ghanaian with foreign passport to come home to help. "Konongo kaya" they cannot solve the problem facing the nation, but wouldn't allow those with brains to come in and help.

However, in a case of Black race, we are found of commiting all evils to Almighty God and to ourselves plain while saying we have to pray to God. My gracious. Who are we deceiving at all? All those ministers who are making noise in the media are religious people, but not Christians. A true Christian will intercede for his nation or fellow human being without making noise for all to hear.

How long has NDC been power including PNDC periods? This is a party that neglect God Almighty, but will trust in swallowing frogs to bring miracles.
Whatever his name is Fifi Kwetey should know that when God Almighty is on your side, you don't need to strive. Your party has no trust in God. Look at what you have done to Ghana's economy. Ghana's economy is on the free fall. All what you believe in is to steal. And that will not help Ghana. NDC better turn Jesus Christ.

People should know the difference between religious leaders and Christian leaders. None of the above will help Ghana.

It is those who through faith have accepted the forgives of God through Jesus Christ, have accepted the redemption and salvation of God, have accepted the righteousness of God and his marvelous grace are Christians.

Fifi Fiavi Kwetey has indeed spoken the truth that absoluetly, there's an urgent need to re-evaluate the transformational tools of which he's an integral part ie the NDC gov't, because the results from all indications has been a humongous, gargantuan failure of very crass proportions and if Ghana is to experience change and transformation, the need for re-evaluation cannot be overemphasized.
The NDC gov't has made the case for a change in gov't at the ballot box in 2016, coming from one of the main architects of the downward spiral of the country economically and financially, as a result of crass incompetence and ineptitude buttressed by looting and propaganda and lies, and Ghana should take very, very serious note of this admission, and massively vote the NDC gov't out in 2016.

Because of such bad influence, and especially their use of vile, vitriolic language on just everyone, who crosses their path, juxtaposing it with their sense of belittling God in many circumstances, this nation is reaping the fruit of satanic governance. The signs are so conspicuous, not a figment of anyone's imagination. Nothing is working well, all things have completely fallen apart, drifting into an abyss. No money to fund school feeding, NHIS is on the verge of collapse. High inflationary rates, the cedi has no value, high petroleum prices, unstable power supply, among many others. During the latter part of 2013, this clueless president assured Ghanaians that the frequent power outages, "dumsor-dumsor", will be a thing of the past. What do we see now? The other day, we heard him rendering apologies for his inability to redeem his promise, which was a palpable lie, orchestrasted to save his face from the heat of last year's election petition trial. Shame on you, Mahama, you've failed woefully in every sector of the economy. Ghanaians won't forgive you. In spite of all that, NDC still has no shame. They have the courage to tell us, that their boss is on course. That he will make Ghana a paradise in no time. Is that what the people want to hear, in the face of the hundreds of unfulfilled projects? Instead of finding lasting solutions to these numerous problems confronting us, people like Fifi Kwetey and Kwakye Ofosu, go round scouting for news, with a bad, evil motive. Woe betide anyone who constructively criticizes NDC govt for this or that. These sharp teeth, ill-bred vampires will so heavily descend on that individual. They don't give a damn whether you are Jesus Christ, Kofi Annan, Kufuor, Otabil, Duncan Williams, Kufuor, Akufo-Addo, Martin Amidu, JJ, they will send you to the cleaners. What they hate to hear is the truth. Truth, so that they can make amends or correct mistakes for our good. And so these primitive wimps, ill-mannered elements, desirous of satisfying their master, will vilify, denigrate and insult everyone. But the good news is that, because God reigns supreme, we shall see the end of these excessively boastful, callous, ruthless men.

Pray (verb) ask earnestly; entreat; offer prayers, esp. to God prayer etc, etc, etc. Religion is Love, Love is Religion, and in the good old book-the Bible, the ten commandment; Love is more emphasized-Love thy neighbour as thy self. Ghanaians are not Christians,-Ghanaians are churchians. Christianity is very young in Ghana. Islam is the oldest. We do worship tigare and trokosi and go to church on sundays and donate some the booty to the churches who aid and abet the crime in the country. The preacher men in the country know what is happening, as hypocrites and cowards as they are, they just do nothing because at the end of the day, the gullible and the ignorant citizens will pay his/her tithes or donation to keep the preacher men, their families and cronies in comfort. As people, we hate ourselves, the country is divided because of stupid politics by the political parties. The politicians are power drunk, selfish, arrogant, ignorant and not accountable to the public. No amount of prayers will redeem the people. We need discipline and spirituality if we want the Creator to give us the sin destroying light to show us the way. Most Ghanaians of these days believe and think that praying around the clock is the answer to poverty. But what they probably don't know is that if you do nothing physically or manually there will be no results. Please my people let us remember that, the days manna fell or rained from heavens or the sky according to the Good book it took some labour to collect. The manna did not fall in houses or drop into pots or pitchers put out to receive manna. The people had to get up in the dawn of the day to go to the fields to collect it and carry it home. Now what we are doing in Ghana is to allow ourselves to be led astray from the truth. Wake up you people of Ghana and work. If we can get our prayer to marry labour, their offspring will certainly be wealth never poverty.

In the advanced countries problems are solved with the physical solutions that they deserve but NOT prayers. Fiifi thank you. The earlier we change our dependent on mere prayers the better. People in authority shoud drum this message into Ghanaians and Africans. We will start seeing improvement in our economies if we stop wasting developmental time for prayers, stop corruption and rather focus on hard work.

I have always maintained that the ills in the development of Ghana and Africa is religion and that if we could replace religion with the pragmatist philosophy of life tinged with honesty, we could achieve what we want to achieve. I do not know whether God exist or not although I am deeply inclined to think there is nothing like God and that the idea of God was a creation of some people who could not understand creation as they sought meaning for it. But if God really exists and all the attributes of him/her are true, then that God is a democratic God and being democratic has given us the mind and power to make use of our environment. How successful an individual or a nation is depends on how they use their minds and power given them. I therefore see it as laughable when on least impulse people kneel down to request from God instead of thanking God in celebration of using their minds and power to achieve something. It is our inability to take our destiny into our own hands that has made us poor as we are in our development and always try to get miracles from God but miracles as in the Bible are just stories and we must take them for what they are. A lot of the prayer requests to God are things that human beings could easily solve by consulting others with the knowledge and skills to help address.
Some of our pastors, as seen on TV, are misleading their congregation to doom but their members appear to be so docile that they could not point this out to them because they fear, in the words of Kofi Awooner, to "incur the wrath of God"
How could a pastor claim he could heal people with various degrees of ailment when hospitals with doctors are there? Ironically, some of these doctors see the best of doctors when the fall sick or have slight headache. Arrant nonsense! Religion is really useless but for the fact that it gives employment to some,it is used to manage stressful situation like death although psychology is better used, and for funerals

They think going to church and dancing to tunes of music is all. Even sometimes I ask where did Jesus and his deciples assemble guiters, bingos and trumpets to sing and yell and dance? A christian friend told me Hei! Kwaku you dont know Christ, dont you know it is written in the bible worship with trumpets and dancing to praise God, it is in the book of psalms. I asked him John but Jesus and his deciples came after King David who initiated this sayings in the books of psalms,they came to after David hadsaid it, if it worths why didnt they follow, (because David requested it just one time to praise God for enabling him conqer Goliath). Where did we read about the deciples worshiping as we do today. As Fiifi put it which I fully agree with him until we change our way of life,corruption and immoral attitude and the incessant love for money and materialism, we shall go to church and danceand pray for decades but we will still stay in our A- B- C- D syndrome. I think we are infuriting GOD and Jesus because we aredoing the opposite. At times you see the church like dancing thearte, young men and women mixed dancing to tunes composed in highlife mod. I was thinking Fifi Kwetey was going to profess solutions about the kind of public financial management structure we need that will lead to the transformation of the Ghanaian economy, given the fact that he has been appointed to oversee 'allied financial institutions' in the country. However, he spent a lot of time criticising prayer but not even a single financial idea for Ghana's economic advancement which is his brief. Unfortunately we are always quickly ready to criticise what others say or do but lack the ability to put forward witty, sound and innovative ideas that will lead to political, social and economic transformation. It's sad.

God put man in charge of the world becuase he knows he can THINK. Constantly calling on God to intercede does the opposite because it calls into question his thinking that man can be in charge. That is why very self-dependent people like the Chinese and Japs are waaaaay ahead of a constantly praying continent. Mahama should distance himself from the asofo. This growing movement should challenge the status quo and help overturn the majority who have held us hostage for far too long. Any fool, tom, dick or harry is busy setting up a prayer centre somewhere in this country and the authorities look on sheepishly not realising the long term effects it's having on this country!

Churches should be banned altogether and their premises turned into factories. Posters of these pastors lining our streets must be replaced with scientific and research materials.

Christians in Ghana and Africa don't only pray. Take out Christianity from healthcare and education and see what would be left of Ghana. Take out the love and tolerance preached by churches in Ghana and see what would become of us.

Just a week ago the president was meeting on organising national prayer and his minister is rubbishing prayers. Absolute disrespect for the president and what he stands for. In any of the countries he cited for example he would have been kicked out of the government. A real team B player indeed.
