I humbly call on the police service to educate their members, especially those in the lower rank, that SLAPING people is not part of their responsibility. It is the DUTY of a court of LAW to say which punishment one gets when one COMMITS a CRIME; and not a policeman MOLESTING that person before he is heard by a court of law.

O my friend, is not common that when a thief is brought to the police station, he/she is manhandled? In this Cal Bank incident, was the gentleman not reported slapped? That is lawlessness that must stop.

Quite an unfortunate incident.

People should be careful of their actions. Even an appearance of surprising a policeman, could result in serious and maybe deadly consequences.

This is why with all my experience and knowledge i have developed living in the UK as an economist, I have no appetite to live in Ghana. If you dont know someone , then you are deemed garbage to those who claim they know someone. I guess enough said.

Handle this issue with caution. The police service supposed to be defending the cop first of all b4 investigations cos criminals are becoming more intelligent than the police.
