I really find it difficult to understand what Dr Mahama is proposing. We should stop criticizing Mahama and that will put our economy on a sound footing? Why not suggest we should crown Mahama as King, abandon party politics and run a monarchy?
USA, Germany, Japan, Britain, Canada, the Scandinavian countries etc all have opposition parties that criticize their leaders and their economies are doing well. This is really sad and the only reason this Doctor is suggesting this nonsense can only be attributed to Northern solidarity.
If Dr Mahama knew this, why did he criticize Rawlings, Presidents Kuffour and Mills? We don't need another one party state with a President for life and that is what we will get if we fail to guide our democratic dispensation.

DRAMANI MAHAMA is so filthily involved in corruption and money laundering through his quangos - RLG, AGAMS, GYEEDA, SADA, etc such that he doesn't care a hoot about the negative effect of his wealth accumulation spree on children, the disabled, old people and the marginalised in the Ghanaian society.
Stop defending this idiotic, incompetent failed MAHAMA imposed on Ghanaians by Afari-Gyan and Atuguba as a "leader".

It is only when the President acts to portray his willingness to eradicate corruption that the Ghanaian will see and be a part. But when he comes to the podium and spews off all the goodies with no action behind them he is viewed as a talk-talk leader. Wayome, GYEEDA,and many topics of national concerns are viewed with negative askance.
While he admonishes parliament and the nation over the negative ipact payroll is having on the economy he turns around to create new and unnecessary posts for his friends and party loyalists. Anita Desooso's position ,for example,is an eyebrow raiser. How serious can we get to join this folly ? How many ministers do we have as a small impoverished nation chasing other nations for loans, not counting scores of deputy ministers ? Sanity are you there ?
Let us see the leader's light that we may also walk in it. All else is talk-talk.

Be reminded that when NPP asumened power in 2001 the duration of SSS was 3 years. It was NPP that first changed the duration. Secondly, before Mr. Kufuor built the Jubilee House there was the Flagstaff House already at the same place only for him to do the renaming. It appears to me that either out of short memory or sheer partisanship, people only notices the change whenever the status quo is maintained. There is another such development croping up. Those who embrased NPP's Free SSS campaign are suddenly questioning the concept now that the Mahama administation is putting the needed infrastructure in place for smooth transition for the same goal. Very strange, isn't it?

Dr Mahama could have done a better job with his speech, instead of narrowing his rationale down to one factor.

Well, the animosity has grown too much and I dont see any end in sight. It is very sad and unfortunate. Now tribal sentiments is in display and this is going to kill our unity for years to come.Imagine a newspaper to publish a healine ' Akuffo Ado flies a tribal flag' what do you expect his followers to do.My brother Ghana is not going to be the same like when we were kids in the 60's
