Urban bias is the cause of Ghana's economic problems. We should focus on improving agriculture by first getting to own the land, then introducing mechanization and fertilization directed at increasing agricultural production. Building roads, good schools, clinics and rural banks.
Meaning there should be rural electrification and development. Remigration to our villages to stop the influx of human and natural resources to the urban areas.

It looks like NDC youth are all illiterates who can't read and understand. They would rather insult Ms Cheto instead of learning from her.

Comparasion with Niogeria is wrong. Our population is far less,we export mineral commodities that Nigeria does not.Our revenue stream is more diversified than Nigeria so we should be bettter off. Our problem is no one wants to farm. The young guys will rather go to Germany Italy etc. There is no incentive to be a farmer in Ghana. Our fishing policy is outdated and the industry on it's knesss. Young fishermen make better living hood in Cote D'Ivoire, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Gambia etc than to be in Ghana ask all the Fantis who are fishing there. We don't envcorage our budding entrepreneurs. It is only based on which political party you belong to. The richest black men in Nigeria,Angola,South Africa were all encouraged by government policies. Dangote was helped by the Buhari government to set up and the rest is hiftory. In Ghana, Pul him Down (PHDs) is the order of the day. A country is developed by the contribution of every one in it and outside ,until we start on that path we are going nowhere.

Ghana has three hydroelectric dams: Akosombo dam, Kpong hydroelectric dam and the newly constructed Bui dam. Aside this we have the Aboadze power and Takoradi power plants. We need to quadruple our electricity production within the next four years.
However what is disturbing is that the additional power being generated is not being used by our industries or consumers. We supply Togo, Benin and Nigeria through two grids one in the south and one in the North. We also supply ivory coast and Burkina Faso with electricity. Inspite of this the cost of electricity to the average consumer has not declined and many would tell you that it is very expensive.
A look at the national electricity grid would tell you straight away that the Akyem districts in the Eastern Region have been cheated.

The NDC is just short sighted. They mask the right and stare in the face of lies. Madam you are right they pay fat money to ministers thinking there's never going to be any reaction to their actions. $3.7 mil for 200 trees aka reafforestation project. $3.1 mil for G Fowl that flew to upper volta to feed and never came back. How madam and why?. The president and his brother are the number 4 and 2 richest people in ghana since Mahama became president. The president does not have the background to comprehend the mathematics of economics. He knows his time is numbered so from here on its just looting game.
Madam i dare you not to provide them with any relief . And to the entire world no country should issue loans . Support should be granted in the form of projects instead. Example Road construction, digging of wells, building of schools, school for the blind, solar farm etc. The donor country should go to ghana and execute the project themselves sand mount your flag to show your contribution. Bridge with a label that say donated by the republic of UK, Italy etc
