This is the price the GAF will be if no proper procurement procedures are not followed but rather procurement are awarded to cronies, friends and family members.
There are no controls and accountability in any aspect of the Ghanaian society.

Is this ultimatum too little too late? Why did it take so long for this ultimatum? What about majority who have since left the Army some years ago without recieving their orders? Until the CDS thoroughly investigate this criminal acts by a very few so called officers within the Army, these things will continue. We can not forget what Ofori and Kludjeson and the rest did to us. If ofiicers are not behind these criminmal acts, how could a raw useless civilian defraud a soldier of his hard earned dollars with impunity? The fatc is that, the Army is full of criminals, especially within the officers´ corps.
What these officers do is that, they deposit the money in Nahariya in Israel to generate interrest for a very long time before they finally transfer the money to the Agents to purchase the items. This is usually done in coninvance with the Agents. The Officer corps of the Ghana Army needs a complete cleaning. Shame on you the High command! Could we ever be proud to have served in the Army? Shame!

Can u imaging what this footballers earned after 90 minutes of play on the field, the government should take a wise decision on how best to treat the military. I will request from the media to debate on this issue.

Soldiers have paid for goods and for years these goods have not been delivered and it is now that we have gained the consciousness to demand the return of the soldiers' moneys. This is interesting scenario. Does it mean that, in Ghana, those who are affected by an adverse issue must make noise in public before authorities know what to do?
This is a simple issue which need not take years to resolve.
You agreed to supply me a commodity by accepting my full payment for it. If you can't supply me the commodity, you have to return the money. Why should this take years, a public protest and even a board of inquiry to do?
Funnily, the military authorities still believe that the goods that the suppliers failed to supply after years, can be supplied by April 2014. This is a show of irresponsible leadership.

Who are they trying to fool? The owners of these so called Frieght companies are brothers and family members of the officers. Most of companies belong to the officers. These are the so called leaders we have in our Army. How sad! If these innocent soldiers have not brought up this treatment to the attention of the public, the so called Authorities would not care less about these soldiers. Ghana is completely rotten in every aspect of our national lives. The Army too?

Infact it has come to light that the military high command want to regain its prestige. But they must hurry up cos there is a lot of homework to do else the Ghana Armed Forces Discipline is on the verge of collapse. Remember that the beauty and envy of GAF is the discipline exhibited by the troops. If the officers continue failing to play their part well they will have themselves to blame one day. There are many other ranks who are equally qualified to be officers but had no mentors or strings to pull and thence found themselves under the stairs. GAF other ranks of today are different from those of old. They are equally or more intelligent than the commissioned officers. CDS must sit up and monitor verify and bring on board only officers and men with integrity. Wishing all officers and men successful professional excellence. CDS I salute you and urge you to be very tactful. God be with our dear armed forces.
