Yet, do don't even see that many ppl in saltpond. This town needs rapid urban planning and development and even a soccer club. More schools for the kids, hospitals and factories.

In my opinion,the Prof,has done more to influence life in Ghana than Komla.

If she would have thought in a University in the USA,we would have heard more about her life and death,than we are hearing now.
At times i really feel Ghana is no Country dying for.

There should a "national" criteria for state honor or burial. We do not have any. If you make enough noise or is politically convenient, you will get state burial.

Therefore, I say the difference was Komla was on TV on a daily basis, exposed to the whole world. There was also the SHOCK value. Again, his colleagues at JOY FM kept it going. I work abroad and I am not on TV so nobody knows me.
