When I first heard the story I knew something wasn't right. Those guys were innocent citizens and maybe the Police has some scores to settle with them and they end up killing them. The only reason why the Policemen get away with that murder is the fact that, they claim the guys were armed robbers, and we all know that no one likes the armed robbers. In fact, some people were even congratulating the Police for a job well done but, me and few other people have a different view about the situation. I always knew this police men kill innocent people with impunity.

Notwithstanding that the Police didnt have any locus to beat and assault the suspect, its big WRONG and if the story is true they need to be sanctioned. But the story lacks credibility. When the TV3 guy went to the bank, is the bank not admitting cheques for payment? Why only ATM to withdraw 1,000 GH Cedis? So far as the victim said he wanted them to be involved in accident means something might have happened but the story is too juicy. Mediamen can be very arrogant to deal with though most of them dont know the law like this CARDINAL guy here.

Sure, it is terribly annoying, to be deceived by a debtor, leaving you to run endlessly chasing your money. But inflicting body pains is not an adequate means of collecting debts.

Those Police Officers, abusing State Uniform to commit crime 'in the name of Ghana', should be sacked straight away, and severely punished, if the laws of Ghana is worth the paper on which it is written.

No wonder the country has already gone to the dogs with serving policemen acting like tugs and wild animals in cages. How are these criminals recruited into the police service, it can not be through the normal channel of police administration recruitment and entrance selection procedure, where, generally only candidates of good intelect and reliable character are selected. Corruption at the top of the police administration, poor selection and training has made it possible for increased number of hard-core criminals to enter the Ghana Police Service.
