this piece good save for its genteel political incitement against the present government. But just as was said, if we can all be wise enough to help the government of the day things will not always go bas. Now everything in fan have been so terribly politicized along partisan lines such that we have persons supporting nations wreckers simply because it makes a government of the day look so bad and give the opposition some hope of return to power. Currently the NPP appears sure of power and wishes 2016 comes tomorrow. If such opportunism does not stop, we will all die even before we reach a quarter of our god given potentials

MAHAMA is not a leader, he has not learnt to be a leader neither was he born a leader. He was dubious handed the position he is occupying. Yet instead of surrounding himself with people with the expertise, knowledge and experience to shore up his weaknesses and his lack of experience and incompetence, he rather preferred lies, propaganda and witch-hunting.
MAHAMA is a failure and I am very happy that MAHAMA's stupidity, incompetence, corrupt personality is exposed everyday that he is wrongfully occupying the wrong position he is occupying. God is great.

mahama is just a poser with nothing good in his head ,even our archenemy jj is telling him to reshuffle his useless ministers out but forgets the essence of leadership . if the president already doesn't have a plan of development then he cant expect not to be overwhelmed by events . mahama has been plagued by one pestilence of woe after another because of the evil deeds he has committed such as the murder of mills and his proactive tribalism of the northerners. you can not fit 3 pints of water in a pot that only holds a pint , we can not fit the nation of Akan in this confinement called Ghana as the potential is far greater . Ghana limits our diaspora to those who left after 1957 , the nation of Akan recognizes those in Brazil , Caribbean ,USA etc centuries ago as all children of Akan and most welcome home just as the Israelis also are not limited by time . yes even Michelle Obama is a child of the Akan nation like it or not . We can not talk of the unification of the African continent if the true identities and real stakeholders remain imprisoned in their own countries. we have govts who only wish to retain power but ask the Berbers Yoruba , igbo or whoever individually if they want African unity today like the European union and they will confirm. its their govts who pay lip service but in reality are all against . everywhere we have vultures of corruption perched at the highest offices of the land bleeding the people of their lifeblood dry like the evil vampires they are . yes the uprising of the Akan we have global ramifications and a new breeze of justice will flow throughout the world . long live the republic of Akan

Aden, let me tell very straightforward that it is persons like you who are easily misled by the politicians. I am not an NDC apologist, nor a member or a supporter. I am a bona fide Ghanaian who whose preoccupation is to see Ghana move forward irrespective of who or which party is in power. My experience tells me that it is only those who have positions in a ruling party or have some connections within the corridors of power who directly benefit from the largesse of the government of the day. That having been said it will smack absolute stupidity for me to blindly support for the simple reason of supporting a party or the president. The fact is once Mahama has been elected as the President of Ghana, it behoves every decent and right minded Ghanaian to help him succeed. Helping him succeed will have the boomerang effect on the citizenry because any stupid decision taken by the President will affect you, whether you support him or not. It will be a classical case of arrant stupidity for one to say that "MAHAMA is a failure and I am very happy that MAHAMA's stupidity, incompetence, corrupt personality is exposed everyday that he is wrongfully occupying the wrong position he is occupying. The most tragic aspect is to say " God is great" at the end of this classical case of obvious nonsensical piece. Adwen indeed!!!!!!

But in the countries where I acquired most of my experience, when you are applying for a role, you have to seriously evaluate your experience, abilities, skillset and capabilities to see if you can perform the role.
We have a "leader" who is bereft of all the leadership skills needed to do the job. Besides he has surrounded himself with people with no experience and the required skillset - Okudzeto-Ablakwa, Ofosu Kwakye, Ayariga, Fiifi Kwetey, Desosso (whatever), ET Mensah, Ade Coker, people who lack critical thinking and critical reasoning to solve problems.
Besides the president doesn't want to own-up and take responsibility for the deterioration in the Ghanaian economy and Ghanaians but he is just blaming and resorted to blatant propaganda. The "imposed" president is at his wits end, MAHAMA has risen to his HIGHEST LEVEL OF INCOMPETENCE in only about 30% of his term of office. This is a disgrace. But the whole world is watching him as he displays his incompetence on the world stage for all to see.

Party politics are our bane. Yank off this evil civil construct and we shall have peace and progress all the way.
Its just that we horribly have misunderstood democracy! That is not how it is practised in the West. For example, how can we describe some institutions as autonomous? And surely those institutions mistake that to mean that they can do anything they like! Just like every organised society, there must be a strong leader guiding everybody, including all institutions along one clear national goal. How can we allow PURC to just continue to to be hiking up fuel prices? This system allows anyone who wants to sabotage the government to do anything they like in the name of autonomy. And PURC is the best example: its head is a a founding member of the NPP and a strong believer in all-die-be-die!!!
As things stand now, it looks like the is on auto-pilot! And Ghanaians appear to be loyal only to their parties, not to the state.

5. Woyome's $51M fraud is just the bit of the iceberg and just the one known...Amedome got killed for using his position as a senior military officer to get a bank loan...just a loan,....
6. Now, when you criticize NDC, they do not tell you that you are wrong nor dispute the allegation. All they say is NPP did worse..or would do worse..
That is what the attacks by Rawlings on Kuffuor is all about..Give Mahama political cover to steal some more.. After Kuffuor did worse..
The aluta leaders are now holding ghana hostage
7. Acheampong and co met that fate but rawlings has managed to place indemnity clause in the constitution and both parties are wink-wink with him and his cohorts who stole millions.

I think the name KALABULE emerged after RAWLINGS' coup when business people and traders began to hoard their goods and as a result brought the name KALABULE. Most civil servant steal monies and do corrupt practices simply because some do not get their wages at the end of every month, even now some of them have not received their wages for six months and nobody cares. Most GHANAIAN workers are "MAGICIANS" check their wages as against expenditure & investment. For this reason no single GHANAIAN living in Ghana will go to heaven, if indeed Heaven exist.

Currently Ghana is inundated with political people who seem to have the immediate cure for all our economic ills, but these are the same people who fail to produce the goods when it comes to the crounch of efficient management, given the mandate to govern the nation they fall apart, they completely forget what they preached to the nation. Politicians in Ghana are mostly corrupt and highly opportunistic, none behaves differently from the other, once elected to power most refuse to share in the basic problems of the nation. What Ghana needs now is brave people willing to work hard to stop the massive institutional corruption and nepotism within our judicial system.

The food we will eat from our backyards will be organic in nature and that will improve our health and cut down our health budget. We our not thinking outside the box as a people. In crisis, nations have stood up to the challenge and come out with flying colors. Japan was flattened during the second word war by America. They started building the country from the scratch and see where they are today. South Korea a few decades ago was nothing to write home about, but with clear and targeted policies, look at where they are today. Lets stop doing destructive politics and focus on development. You claim that you were a part of the group which helped "to bring back what we now called democracy". That was your quote. Maybe you should have educated yourself too in order to have understood "democracy" because that word is loaded with a lot of things. The least of which is to be tolerant of other people's views on all topics of discussion which in other words, means 'inclusiveness'. Other than that it's dictatorship all over again. Right?

We'll like to bring PEACE FM'S attention to the situation that is going on in their sister Radio station at GhanaToday HOLLAND. It has been cleared to the listeners of Ghana Today radio , how the presenter Kofi nyarko was rude to the sympathizers of the ruling NDC Gov, on his "wosukabi" program. Kofi nyarko did not end his rudeness, but Kofi organized members from his npp party, especially those who were akan's, they were carefully selected to come on air to dehumanized the rest of the tribes here in Ghana on his radio show. We the listeners here in Ghana can confirm to the PEACE FM management that the home grown npp terrorist who is now residing in Holland kofi nyarko, has done the same thing he was used to on Monday the 10th of February, when one of his regular caller named Joe Canada ,the sympathizer of the ruling NDC Gov. We heard this gentleman who called the program to refute to the comments one of the caller who is also a sympathizer of the opposition party the npp. The npp man called the program and run insults and accused the people from the Volta Region for the hardships the country is currently facing, he said according to him, he didn't understand why the Ewe's should elect somebody like Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa as their MP , he asked? He went on by saying the Ewe's gives their Votes to anything in front of them, even animals. This uncalled-for words goes down well for the host Kofi nyarko which he congratulated the frustrated npp caller. When the sympathizer to the ruling NDC Gov, Joe Canada, also call the program to refute the unfortunate comments from the npp caller, kofi nyarko who can't hide his affection support for the opposition p npp party ,quickly jumped to defend the npp caller. Kofi nyarko gave his strong warning to the NDC caller not to dare call his radio programs to contribute again, he went on to said , he won't even pick up his call anytime he sees he Joe Canada's number on his phone. These ugly situations compelled some of us to send a strong warning to PEACE FM management, to urgently arrest this situation before its get out of hands. We believed kofi nyarko is trying hard to sow a tribal seeds between us here in GHANA and abroad. The management of PEACE FM must know that kofi nyarko who was placed on npp pay roll to tarnish the ruling NDC Gov, and his division tactics by playing a tribal cards is dangerous to our society and our young democracy here in GHANA We are looking forward to see the management of PEACE FM to call un-erected host kofi nyarko to immediate order before we hit the street of Accra.

Listen to John Mahama telling Ghanaians and the whole world that the depreciation of the cedi is exothermic,
seeming to surmise that Ghana should bury her head in the sand, like the proverbial ostrich, and refuse to see what is going on and do nothing?
The warning signs were given in 2012 when the prices of cocoa and gold started reducing. The gold mining companies issued pink slips to some of their employees as a cost cutting measure. The implication was a reduction in export proceeds and USD.So why didn't John Mahama ask Paa Kwesi, who just left the Bank of Ghana as governor, about what corrective measures needed to be put in place if Dr. Wampah was daydreaming?
The USA economy is strengthening and so is the USD.So they should be ready to prop up the cedi.
When the FED begins to raise interest rate, the USA will compete with us as a better destination for international capital for investment.
I hear the USA will need more cocoa for the manufacture of chocolates.Over to you COCOBOD CEO.
Some of the redundant presidential staffers will be more useful to Ghana if they will read the daily economic news and inform the president so he can make timely decisions.

What Arthur K is saying is damn true, we are looking at from NDC/NPP lens and criticizing or applauding, but should not be the case. We have to wish Ghana the best and see what is true so we can help ourselves and our nation. We need solutions now, and that demands the appointment of competent thinkers and not political cronies. Good piece but point of correction. Our highest budget deficit was in 2008 when we recorded 24% budget deficit. the 12% in 2012 was second and not the highest.

Many of us knew what Dr. Kennedy is saying about the Nation but did not have audience when we tried to draw the attention of the likes of him. Sadly, it seemed Dr. Kennedy and his leading Politicians were consumed by the mere ideological supremacy games that the selfish Politicians have used to distract us from the real needs of the Nation.
I am glad that he now appears to be more focused on the fundamentals, and not sheer Party Politics.
Talking about Rawlings, it must be noted that we almost invariably made Ghana's Politics all about him, as a personality, while ignoring anything truthful that he ever said. We allowed ourselves to be overshadowed by either the hatred for Rawlings, or the unconditional love for him as if that was all the Nation should care about. Caught in the middle was the welfare of the Nation that got screwed by the Politicians who capitalized on our distraction to fill their pockets and take over State Assets directly or indirectly.
Ghana should have a singular set of goals that no Party or ideological sect can set aside for its parochial goal.
Many Ghanaians, like me, have long alerted that Kalabule had resurfaced stronger than even we first encountered it in the 70s. And what has made the situation worse is the fact that the Politicians have been using the cover of our young Democracy to justify property owning at all cost to the detriment of the Nation. Unfortunately, folks would simple relegate such observations to partisanship and fail to act to bring the necessary change. Time is running out. We better act to clean the Nation of these selfish Politicians and their cohorts in the Civil Service.
Long Live Ghana!!!
