Hope you have gotten the required court order to go ahead with the demolition else same Ghanaians and other bodies will turn around to blame you for political expediency. I wish you well.

We have laws in Ghana that do not worked. Look at the number of years that have these laws have not worked or enforced. It is like the Kantamanto market land issue.Imagine the number of years that these people have settled there, are those lands going to be demolished for the people to become homeless? If the land has not been demaecated for building, how did they get building permit, water and electricity? Perhaps the lands have changed hands.
TDC boss, you know the hardship people are going through and you are part of the problem for allowing them to put up the structures first. You should show the humane face first.

How can it happen under NPP when they were involved in selling government lands to themselves? President Kuffuor was accused of acquiring some government lands in Kumasi at GHc200.00 per acre. The CJ Georgina Wood was even given some by the NPP administration but she had to give it back when the NDC came to power. They were involved in the crime instead of upholding the law and protecting the country.

Heartless TDC, my people at Sraha East, Adjei Kojo, Tema will be remembering the January 21-22, 2014 when the town was invaded by fully armed men in uniform who came with bulldozers to pull down houses which even none of them could put up in their life time. In all about 150 houses were pull down. All those behind the demolition are going to be affected by DIABETES TYPE 2 one after another and they will die like dogs. All those who one way or the other took money from people at Sraha East and allowed people to put up houses and at the end demolished them will leave to regret day-after-day including Major Salifu together with their police commanders.

Thank God the NPP government of former president Kuffuor did not sell the land to ministers,MPS,and members of his party. The ratioinale behind past governments buying lands for the state was to make land for development available whenever needed and not for subsequent governments to sell them to their party members at ridiculously low prices .All state lands sold to individuals should be retrieved. They were stolen from the people.
