A/upgrade and improve infrastructure: road systems, airports, ports, the entire infrastructure, and IT infrastructure IN GH IS LAGGING. IMAGINE THE JOBS THIS WILL CREATE FOR ALL THESE YOUTHS?
B/R&D:research and development being carried out within GH. GOVT MUST PROVIDE R&D tax credit for all companies who OPERATE/HVE operations within GH.
C/CORPORATE TAX BREAKS TO MULTINATIONALS WHO WISH TO USE GH AS THEIR HEADQUARTERS TO DO BUSINESS. THIS WILL HELP GH REMAIN globally engaged through trade and investment ACTIVIITES.
D/OFFER MORE CASH SAVINGS INCENTIVES FOR THE PPL OF GH THRU THE BANKS, MEDIA. DO THIS THRU FINANCIAL LITERACY CAMPAIGNS, CASH SAVINGS STRATEGIES WITH INTEREST E.G TFSA, RRSP, MUTUAL FUNDS, GIC'S, STOCKS/GSX ETC
E/FACTORIES: TURN MORE RAW MATERIALS TO FINISHED GOODS FOR EXPORT. IMPORT LESS.
IF GH WANTS TO RESOLVE ITS BUDGET DEFICIT, CHANGE THE MACROECONOMIC VARIABLES OF CONSUMPTION AND SAVINGS.
STRENGHTEN COMMERCE FACTORS SURROUNDING THE ECONOMY SO THAT THEY INDIRECTLY AFFECT THE POSITIVE STRENGTH OF THE CEDI. RATHER THAN TAKING SPECIFIC CEDI REVAMP MEASURES
F/I THINK ITS TIME THE BOG AND THE MIN OF FINACE MADE THIS ILLEGAL. IF YOU ACEPT FOREIGN CURRENCY AS LEGAL TENDER IN EXCHANGE FOR GOODS OR SERVICES IN GH. YOU THE ACCEPTEE MUST BE ARRESTED AND MUST SPEND AT LEAST 3MTHS IN JAIL,PLUS A FINE OF TRIPLE THE AMOUNT OF FOREIGN EXCHANGE YOU ACCEPTED.
THIS ALONE WILL CAUSE BUSINESSES LIKE HOTELS ETC FROM ACCEPTING OR PRICING IN DOLLARS OR ANY NON GH CURRENCY. THIS INCLUDES CHURCES TOO...LOL
G/WIDEN THE TAX BASE. CANT YOU SEE WAT WESTERN NATIONS ARE DOING?
H/CLAMP DOWN ON PUBLIC SECTOR CORRUPTION. WE NEED CORRUPTION COURTS IN GHANA LIKE MALAYSIA.
IF THE GOVT CAN NOT BE DISCIPLINED IN FOLLOWING THRU WITH THESE INITIATIVES. THEN FORGET IT

Unfortunately i am always right , we have a govt that has introduced a system of govt which encourages people not to work rather they all perch on strategic posts or positions like vultures stealing , being bribed and facilitation corruption . our minister of foreign affairs Hannah tetteh ( who by the way isn't a fanti but somehow is an mp for a fanti area) will rather sell the takoradi harbor than do her job of sending condolences to the family of Shirley temple. you step out of your house today and try and do anything its always some non Akan trying to fleece you or shake you down for money and that's the gospel truth . if you are treated fair very likely it was an Akan you dealt with . this is the sorry state of affairs the curse pepeni has brought unto us . the country can never develop as long as such selfish characters are in charge so we wait for the revolution and war instead . long live the republic of Akan

Why the exodus? Foreign owned businesses are sending profits which they earned in cedis to their shareholders who live outside Ghana.
There are concerns from the Akyem Districts in the Eastern Region that they are being marginalized. Eastern Region over the last hundred years contributed in no small way towards government revenue and the economy of Ghana. Diamond production, human resource, cocoa, gold and other agric products from the region contributed in no small way towards the development of Ghana. At its peak the Akyem Akwatia diamond mine which ceased operations in 1991 produced more than a million carats of diamonds annually. A carat of diamonds is worth from $1500 to $100,000 depending on the grade. Revenue from these areas formed a very high proportion of the government revenue used to undertake major projects like Korle bu teaching hospital, KATH, free education in the north, University of Ghana. Kotoka(Accra) international airport, Adomi Bridge, KNUST, Cape - Coast University, Job 600, Kumasi sports stadium, Tema harbour and township, Takoradi harbour, Kpong hydroelectric dam, the numerous Secondary and basic schools constructed by Nkrumah, railway lines, roads, state owned enterprises and on and on and on. This marginalization has led to many of the people from the region leaving Ghana.

Good question, knowing nothing would tangible would come out of this.
At the end of the make-believe deliberations they would have eaten, drank, found new lovers and the problems would still be there!

Auditors, decision makers and institutions are discussing issues that none of them are conversant with and making decisions any how, to the detriment of our citizens........
Public institutions can't seem to account for anything that has been assigned to them. They are all filled with DECEIT, LIES and CORRUPTION. And that they get is a slap on the wrist and no one is held accountable for their INCOMPETENCE??????
And the cycle goes on and on and the nation is led to FAILURE! We are a JOKE indeed! What a waste of money to educate citizens who can't see what they are doing is meaningless? OH! GHANA! WHAT A WASTE!
GOD BLESS GHANA!
AFRICAN FOREVER!

PAC will have been more effective if some of the members have been ACCA, CA or AIA. The head is a CIMA member and that leave a lot to desire though CIMAs are qualified accountants but they are NOT trained to be AUDITOR
