Great. You are absolutely correct. Blaming government instead of helping government will not solve any problem. The country's problems cannot be fixed by any president or party. All citizens need to come together. The cause of the Cedi falling is multifaceted . One measure cannot solve all the problems. Some of the problems are not created by any president or party. The fall of. Commodity prices, the monetary policy of US, the accounting methods used by multinationals, the dolarization of the economy to mention a few. What citizens can do is to consume more home goods, export more from the country, import less, be more productive , think of scientific ways of solving problems instead of praying, spend Cedis in Ghana. No government will succeed if the citizens do not help.

the govt needs to implement measures that ensure the wealth of the nation remains with the people of the nation and for example introduce measures the discourage the gold mines frome continually siphoning out the money instead of investing in the economy , encourage the establishment of processing plants and factories instead of all these foolish procurement contracts , facilitate the easier return of our diaspora but ensuring a fair judiciary and institutions of state that function instead of all these corrupt sheriffs that only think of themselves . it doesnt matter which party is in power as long as they focus on the unity of the people and avoid anything or action that creates second class citizens . i say nationalise the gold concessions now or there will be a bloody revolution before the year is over and the country will fall apart . bring people who are fair a, competent and have integrity instead of these greedy barstards who lie so much that they themselves dont know what the truth is . stop the tribalism and introduce a system whereby merit and hard work are rewarded instead of all the propaganda mudslinging lies you serve us everyday , in short start to care so the people can show you love

Yes, the same thing happened under Rawlings which compelled Kuffour to go HIPC.When NDC spoils the country by buying power to rule when it is not capable of managing the country,it tries to lure others to help.Did NDC tell Ghanaians that the whole world was in financial crisis so Ghana would suffer the same fate when they were campaigning for power? You have finished'eating the flesh' and now you want us to share the bones with you! God deliver us from these Pharaos by 'drowning them in the Red Sea'.

As a nation we must stand as one and not let the outside world know what they know already.
Many of our so called politicians are a plain bunch of fools who are sent to parliament because those who voted for them just didn't know what they were doing only for voting for a village known boy.
Hope there will be a change but when one hears the Awukus and the Krabos, it seems there is no hope because they are only talking without thinking as people with thier heads on really.

Just look back at their reaction to Bawumiah's lectures. Leave them to fumble as much as they would until Ghanaians get fed up with them.
