Our leaders and educated elite are just a laughing stock. They have no clue about what to do to put things in its rightful place to make live better for the ordinary Ghanaian.

Of late people have been dismissing many brilliant ideas that are proposed by Mr Kofi Wayo. Anybody who has stayed in America will agree with me that America was built on civil liberty, equal rights and justice for all irrespective of who you are. The laws of the land are obeyed to the letter and it is hard to get away with wrong doing. After more than fifty years,there is no visible transformation of the economy. The woeful performance of the agricultural sector is disheartening and yet we boast of being "wise and civilized. The fact of the matter is a lot of get away with so many things especially with regards to corruption and waste in the system that makes me wonder what type of people are we. How many people have being sentenced to imprisonment for embezzling funds of the government and yet we are praying to God to descend and solve our problems for us. If our leaders can do away with their selfishness and concentrate on the and have a vision for the next twenty years about where we as a people need to be ten I am afraid we shall get nowhere no matter how much and how long we pray.There is no road map for the country but only try and error as if we do not have any thinking caps. Many countries would wish to have our material and human resources to transform the nation, but it unfortunate that those in the country are blind and cannot see the wealth that we have. We have to wait for the rains before we can have a good harvest. Israel does not have a fertile land like ours but has transformed its agriculture. Mr Kofi Wayo is talking just like any American wold talk- we are simply blind and fail to realize our potential and God -given talent. We are always waiting for the white to develop our country for us. We are simply ignoring the simple things that we have to do. we should wake up in our slumber. We cannot even keep our streets clean, Does that require sophisticated technology. P Other countries tackle the problems their problems head on instead of relying on prayers everyday. Do we relay on prayers to cook our food, or do our chores? Kofi Wayo is a visionary and thinks like the whiteman. The government appointees do not know anything about how things should work and how things are to be done. We need a leader and a visionary who has a plan like Dr Kwame Nkrumah to steer the affairs of this nation. otherwise we shall still be groping in the dark and in the abyss waiting for God to pull us out and by then it might be too late.

Ghana needs to go forward and we shall make use of the best Ghanaian talents available to us and leave Members of Parliament to focus on legislation and weekly surgeries at their Constituencies.And they shall not be worshipped by the constituents when the go home just for funerals. Ghanaians should take a cue from the plague that hit Europe in the 13th century. Priest were obligated to conduct last or final rites on the dead, which was believed to help the dead gain entrance into heaven. These priest concentrated their efforts on the rich, thus becoming very rich and neglected the poor. When the rate of death became so rampant, the priest in order to protect themselves, enacted a law to say anyone could perform the last rites on behalf of these priest. They were scared of dying themselves and had gotten rich off the back of these poor dying people. History teaches us so much. Pastors, archbishops, bishops etc have not changed but continuously modifies their ways to DUPE the ordinary citizens all in the name of God. For those who want to learn, learn from history.
