If the cedi loses it's purchasing power against other currencies without any deliberate policy by Government, then that must be DEPRECIATION.

The word should be 'cedi depreciates' against major currencies not devalue as used in this article.

Many of these people operates on the surface operating through sense knowledge. They cannot ever understand spiritual issues because they are under the influence of the flesh (sense knowledge)"But the Natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are Spiritually discerned” 1 Cor. 2:14. Dr. Tony Aidoo, Kwesi Pratt and the lots that are criticizing Arch-Bishop Duncan Williams may be high in worldly knowledge but not spiritually. They do not have a clue concerning the things of the spirit.
Secondly the other pastors who are supposed to support the Bishop are also following the un-generated Doctors and Professors because they do not know who they really are. When a Pastor comes out and voice out, confessing that they have prayed, they have fasted and nothing is happening, and do not know what to do tells you the spiritual level of that Minister; they babes in Christ , the Greeks call them “nepius”. They are not yet grown though they may be in the Church for donkey years.
Leave spiritual things for the Pastors to do and all those in governments who are against the steps taken by the Arc Bishop should also do their part in government honestly and faithfully.

Did Duncun Williams say that by praying for the cedi all problems about the cedi depreciation was over? I am so sorry for kettle which calls the pot black. Tony Aidoo has arrogantly carried himself as the best economic brain Ghana has ever known yet his best over the years has resulted in the present depreciation of the currency; what about if he had been a God fearing person who believed in prayers and prayed as well. All these comments from the inside the NDC make believe President Atta Mills has wasted his life for people who are corrupting Ghana today because I believe He would have rather endorsed the prayers for the cedi being a strong Christian as He was. By Tony Aidoo's definition President Mills was a lazy man because he was highly religious and Mahama was a double standard Pentecostal who loved women like he drank pito. Shame unto you all. The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all forms of ungodliness.

An area mapped out for Industrial settle for creation of jobs must never be sold only to be turned into a place of worship. Let us seriously look at the KANESHIE Industrial Arae and count how many churches operate from there, how many industries have been sold to be turned into worship centers and since how many have lost their lively hoods ? We are well aware that prayers do not put an eye of corn on our table. Cuba, North Korea and China do not take their problems to any supernaturals to solve for them, so was the case with Eastern European socialist countries. If prayers help the economies of countries to improve, then the U.S. would have had the best economy in the world. On the U.S. currency if a prayer "In God We Trust" but the U.S. for centuries subvert the economies of other countries so that their economies lag, whiles even though that of the U.S. in real terms is not improving it was seen as the best.

CUT DOWN ON PUBLIC SPENDING/NUMBER OF MINISTERS/PRESIDENTIAL STAFFERS, ERADICATE CORRUPTION, IMPROVE GHANA'S INFRASTRUCTURE, REDUCE FUEL PRICES, TAXES AND TARIFFS "ACROSS THE BOARD", CREATE A STRONG INDUSTRIAL AND MANUFACTURING BASE, INVEST IN RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT OF GHANA'S VAST HUMAN POTENTIAL, ADD GOOD VALUE TO GHANA'S NUMEROUS EXPORT PRODUCTS,
AND THE REST WILL BE HISTORY.

MOST OF THE ABOVE ARE WHAT HAVE STIFLED GROWTH OF GHANA'S POTENTIALLY BLESSED ECONOMY, BY WHOM? GOD, BUT AGAIN, WE TAKE ALL OF THOSE BLESSINGS FOR GRANTED.

How do you want your cedis to be strong when the country continue to use hard earn currency from your traditional exports to import tooth pick from China, tomatoes, indomie, flour, regretable rice, sugar, plantain and crabs from Ivory Coast and what have you. This means that Ghanaians live like Kings and Queens while others do the dirty jobs. This therefore beg the question why Ghanaians do not want to pay for kingly ride and please understand that one of the price is to pull the rug under the cedis to allow it to fall in other for Ghanaians to enjoy comfort. The die is cast, no amount of witchery nor prayers can stop the crossing of Rubicon, apology Julius Caesar. simple economic theory will tell Ghanaians that so far as the manufacturing base is weak and Ghana is disadvantaged and recording negative in the international trade balance sheet then, like throwing a ball perpendicularly to a wall, the live wire, which is the currency,of the economy will be weak. For the first time I totally agree with this man. We blacks are so lazy and inept that we fail to think of finding solutions to our problems but always resort to God as if God is African. Even the holy book says God help those who help themselves. Always prayers, why are we the only people who worship God ? And this transcends in all other facets of our lives.....just look at our footballers any time they want to play a match?
