The other time we were told to see a chicken as a big cow, we were told that, powerful military fighter jets were to be imported into the country to fight armed robbers, we were told the late President Agya Atta Mills ring magically stopped the flooding, we were also made to believe that we can dig nine graves to bury one corpse, and today we are told to push down our throats the undrinkable bitter pill to make us believe that our poverty is a natural cause of the despicable global climate change.
Abaaaaaa!!! do these bigot of ministers have any conscience? how do they rate the intelligence and the understanding of Ghanaians?
I bet a trained baboon from the mountains will not make such unfounded statement.
That is a slap in the face of all of us and its about time we think and think deep to decide if we still want such bigots to keep on ruining our lives with their discriminative corruption and shamelessness.

Climate change is a phenomenon that is affecting the whole earth and its inhabitants. How come it's only Ghana that is stating that it's poverty is attributable to this change? When the weather pattern was favorable in the past, were Ghanaians rich? No, we weren't. Guys, it is another wicked attempt to siphon our scarce resources into private pockets. These greedy people will use every useless excuse to create, loot and share. Mark it on the wall, they would soon come out with useless policies that they want to combat the effects of climate change on the country in order to reduce poverty. Meanwhile, such policies would not yield any meaningful results. Let us try to resist any hopeless policy that would be forced down our throats as solutions to the negative effects of climate change.
The North for instance needs many dams for dry season farming to engage the inhabitants especially the strong youth who migrate to the South for non-existent jobs. Yet what do we see as solutions proffered to bridge the gap between the North and the South? Useless Guinea fowl project whereby most of the guinea fowls have flown to Burkina Fasso, and the non-existent trees supposedly planted by SADA. The people do not need these. They want dams to irrigate their farmlands during the dry season and thus become self-employed. They know of all this but because it would not benefit they the implementers personally, they would not go in for such laudable projects. The Northerners want dams, please Mr. John Mahama. Posterity will judge you if you do not use this opportunity to help your people come out of poverty through the implementation of wise and truly income generating policies.
Ghanaians should wise up and not vote on tribal lines. When we do this we get negative results and so we should blame ourselves for the present predicament.

No wonder. When you have ministers blaming poverty in a nation on climate change, it is called displaced truth. It is rather the bad economic policies of the govt. that is causing the widespread poverty among the populace. Look at the prices of fuel, electricity and water. These prices are pegged at dollar values and the people don't earn pay at dollar values. The govt waste money on things that don't add value to anything and with massive corruption you drive people to poverty. So stop the lies and blaming climate change. Too many empty heads in high places, who have nothing to offer but create, loot and share.
