Africans have a strong faith in God/gods. We believe in devine interventions, angelics visitations and the second coming of Jesus. While Jesus has not yet come we have faith that WHATSOEVER we ask in his name it will be given to us.
Faith is not a religion but a way of making impossible things possible. It works.

In Ghana, even members of your own family who claim to be pastors of churches and claim to be very religious are the ones who will scam, steal and deceive you in more ways than one, especially when you are in overseas sending home remittances to be used for one reason or another. You go home some years later thinking that some of the objectives of those remittances you sent home have been realized, only to be greeted by deception. Survival.... right? Don't get me wrong about survival. Black people are survivors but in Ghana, we feed on our own...religion be damned. It's all a sham!!!!

While I agree with Ben to some extent, I still believe that he was not totally correct in his assertions that black race is still very poor as a result of his religious activities. Some black people all over the world still have access to wealth; why have they not emancipated their poor brothers? Why have they not excelled like their white counterparts? The whites did not start with aparthy for religion, they grew out of it. You never can tell what becomes of black race in the nearest future as his offsprings are showing distaste for religion. Let an African state emerge economic power house, then you will see what becomes of their religion.

Our status in life has nothing to do with religion but every bit to do with culture. In developed and civilized nations a PhD is not synonymous with a plush climate controlled office neither is it preferred over wisdom and or deliberate critical thinking, but in Africa we do. That is why it is likely to find unqualified laborers trying to install systems they are incapable of knowing when they go wrong with the install while the engineer or PhD boss enjoys the office settings. It is the culture that endure us into believing that tribal loyalties and or political loyalties and favoritism trumps competence. If religion was our calling would we not know right from wrong or at the very least know that stealing is wrong?
We do what we do because culture tells us that our educated elite have all the answers and so even when they go from being poor to filthy rich in a blink of an eye asking questions of them would amount to disrespect or jealousy. It is within the same cultural trance that we've come to accept that used clothing from some filthy person in the Dispora in far more in vogue than a newly sown outfit from local print or some imported food at lunch shows class over local cuisine.

Europe produced no religion, all European bible versions are plagiarized from "The Egyptian Book Of The Dead". If Christianity began in Europe, why didn't their bibles begin in Europe? I have several European bible versions and they all begin in Africa.

Most so-called Christians who have bibles carry them for style but they don't read it, those who do, can never read it with objectively because 18 books had been banned by a Roman criminal named Constantine at the conference of Bishops in 325 AD at Nice' that's when Africa got demoted and Rome got promoted by violent means, and a European version of God was invented, white Jesus and all.

It is very embarrassing to see unthinking Africans with a white Jesus, when the geography of the bibles clearly shows Africa as the original holy land, read Genesis 2 and continue reading.

In the U S of A, Africans used the church and religion very effectively in their struggle against racism and naked European terrorism, in order to break the chains of Aparthied, which shows that any weapon that an enemy uses against you, the same weapon can be used by you to defeat the enemy.

The problem is that too many people who talk about African liberation, have never actually participated in anything, and being outside observers, their analysis is almost always flawed and self defeating.

If Africans were as weak and confused as some are trying to assume, Africa's enemies would still be in Africa cracking whips on our backs, all praises to our Almighty Ancestors that those days are now history, Africa's external enemies were soundly defeated, and PanAfricanism is in sight.

One day a made a call to a friend in Ghana.lt was Sunday.l was at work due to my schedule and he has been in Church for the past 7hrs.That day my friend who knew how l worshipped in Ghana on Sunday got disapointed in me because l was working on Sunday in States.without that job l cant get money to support my family and myself.l cant even pay my bills and can simply not survive.But the friend wanted me to go to Church.......prayers can solve everything,he said......hmmmm.The next Friday he called me demanding for money.l worked,he prayed without work.l pray at my private time but work like crazy.The friend spends 80% of his time going for church programme?Can his prayers work without actions? There is more blessings in giving than receiving and l end up being blessed.You need not to pray 7 hrs a day or fast twice a week in order to be a Christian or religious.Misuse of time leads to poverty and it's time we wake up.lf there is high unemployment rate it doesnt mean we should misuse religion.Thanks for your time?

The Romans changed God the Sun to son of God, put the image of a European man to represent the son of God, and confused the whole world with the subliminal message: " God made man in his own image and likeness, if his son has pale skin, blond hair and blue eyes, then father and son must look alike.

If all men, regardless of race, color or creed, should disappear from the face of the earth, other forms of life will continue, however, if the sun disappears, all forms of life will also disappear.

This observations were made by Africans thousands of years before there was a Greek or Riman civilizations. AMEN.

Why did GOD make Africa the riches continent in the world and let the poorest people lie here?
The one missing issue is the spiritual side. We are not taught about the spiritual side, that is the purest, as God is spirit we are spirit, the only way to talk to god is directly that is spirit to spirit. Because the pastors 2000 yrs ago didn't believe JC (A common carpenter)then are the Nicea council in 325, where they removed reincarnation and spiritual element. man as been brainwashed into a believe system controlled by 'salesmen' using the bible as tool. what are they today but 'salesmen and women', look at their life styles, many have security guards and electrified fences, who are THEY afraid of? Yet they tell us to believe in God he will protect us. The rest of the world is turning to the spiritual side more and more, there lies the real answers to life. the people give the pastors power and the pastor use that power to control YOU. If all the corruption and greed is controlled by the devil who control us? Who then controls the pastors?
