First off, we refuse to adequately pay the caterers, until they go begging the market women for 'credit', and cook according to the available ingredients.
Then, We form Committees, give them cars and motorbikes to undertake monitoring (instead of using the money to improve the quality of the meals).
Finally, We can blame the women for not possessing adequate catering qualifications.

Some Ghanaians have a bit longer memory, so we remember when the NDC government took over, and replaced those of the caterers without "Qualified" Party membership, to reach an almost 100% NDC caterers. Don't tell us the women have all of a sudden forgotten how to cook a good meal, because you informed us you were bringing in "certified" caterers.
One question is whether the monitors have to wait six months to get their petrol bills settled.

WE DESERVE WHAT WE VOTE FOR, and must accept the fact that our leaders can not be as stupid as we are

It may have some succes in the cities like Accra and Kumasi however it will fail in the rural areas where it is most needed. While a really good policy, it suffers from implementation botlenecks as happens in most social policies such as NHIS. Funding is only one aspect of the problems. Quality of food, sanitation, distribution etc needs to to factored into the equation.

Isn't it a shame that what use to be the primary responsibility of parents,has now been renegaded to government thanks to some idiotic suggestions of the UN? And our myopic leadership has jumped on board with both feet because since it's the UN then it got to be sacrosanct.
It's only those who fail to learn from history who deem it appropriate to undertake or partake in a social program where some of our children are "fed" by the government.
It's a stupid program and never works well even in advanced nations 'cos like the mantra goes in Ghana,it's "ABAN ADUANE".
When I was growing up,my father who was the bread winner,made sure that all his children,and there many of us,got fed the way he knew best.That responsibility was never renegaded to a UN sponsored goal.
We need to go back to the way the family unit operated and allow the people do what they can do best for themselves,like feeding their children,and leave other responsibilities like building good roads,providing good drinking water,providing affordable power and housing to the government.
For crying out loud,we should be left alone to feed our children the way we deem fit,not by the dictates of some government program.
