    Rote learning is what is going on in Ghana with the JHS and SHS systems where the syllabus is made in such a way that students are expected to learn certain facts and reproduce them at exams verbatim. I was in Ghana recently ...

    @ Kwesi, you are absolutely right.. i was a polytechnic graduate in ghana. a student can only pass some certain courses if he or she can afford for handout from a lecturer.

    YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. TAKE THE CASE OF GCE O-LEVEL AND A-LEVEL MARKING SCHEME AND YOU'LL BE SHOCKED TO LEARN THAT OUR UNIVERSITY PROFESSORS ARE SIMPLY USELESS.
