Okukuseku, who the hell are you to determine how Komla, or for that matter, any human being can enter heaven? Are you Gods spokesman or what? And if so who appointed you?
For some of you just-arrived Christians, you have got it all wrong.
As far as I am concerned, Komla, without a whisper or reference to any Biblical chapter, verse, saint or hymn, has done more than any Pope, Bishop, Pastor or damned Overseer to show what righteousness and humility is all about.
Just by the simple example of his humble life, many millions and perhaps billions of people around the world, Christians and non-Christians alike, may have been exposed to and have been impressed by his quality of life. Many of these people may therefore aspire to or wish to take after him and live their lives in the same way he did. This is what is Godly and not your by-force type of Christianity which is hypocritical pretentious.
What again do you mean by saying that "All what we have been saying so far cannot take him to heaven." With what authority are you saying this? Are you some kind of immigration Officer to Heavens domain? The impudence of some of you Christian up-starts is simply unbelievable - if not out-rightly annoying and sinful.
In the same way that I am not interested in what church you go to or what kind of relationship you have with your God, it is also none of your damned business to know what kind of relationship Komla had with his God or what Church he goes to. Period! There are many roads leading to the heart of God. Anyone may choose the road most suitable or convenient for them. This level of spiritual arrogance can only be sinful and wrong in the eyes of God.
Now get a grip of yourself and stop behaving, like many pseudo-Christians of today seem to do, as if you think God is some kind of fool. By your presumptuous and stark ignorance of spiritual matters, some of you demean and desecrate the image of God on a daily basis. But I know He will forgive you because He knows that you know not what you do.

On reflection after reading your contribution, I actually begun to wonder if there was something inherently wrong with Christianity. Could it be that Christianity induces laziness?
Those people who introduced the distorted form of Christianity here in this part of the world on the untruthful excuse that they wanted to bring God closer to us the 'savage and backward native Africans' as they describe us, were also so lazy that they eventually enslaved us and carried millions of our brothers and sisters away to their countries to go and do their dirty work for them.
As it turned out, they did not actually come here to bring God to us at all. It eventually turned out that they were looking for material things like gold, silver, diamonds, human beings as slaves and lands to - politely put, misappropriate.
In most other countries where Christianity was not in existence and not strongly introduced - such China, Japan, Russia etc, they worked hard for themselves and succeeded in achieving huge and monumental levels of development for themselves. As human as they are, the levels of crime, corruption, cheating, immorality, social depravity such as racism, homosexuality, drugs, pornography, adultery, bestiality, public indiscipline and lawlessness, disrespect for one another and so on and so forth are at a tolerable and manageable minimum.
On the contrary, we cannot say so for those countries who brought Christianity to us and what we have become as a result.

After stressing the great guy to death, they (the BBC) now want to exploit the death of Komla Dumor to set up another imperialist foundation to train vulnerable African journalists to take after their misleading and nation-wrecking misinformation schemes about Africa.
Even just days before his death, Komla himself had confessed by social networking to the terrible and miserable time he was going through at the BBC. He had to live through it because his own country could not offer him the necessary opportunities where he could fully express his outstanding talent for commensurate benefit.
This is so because imperialist organizations like the BBC had among other devious crimes against humanity and history, assisted in defaming and overthrowing the only person who could have made Ghana as good and possibly, a better a country than Britain, where Komla died.
Readers will recall that on February 24, 1966, the BBC announced the overthrow of Dr Kwame Nkrumah even before their despicable rats and cockroaches in Ghana had announced their historical crime on Ghana's GBC radio. The complicity is obvious.
The British and the BBC, may not have noticed it but the world has moved on - even if marginally and discreetly, from the days when the BBC was established to broadcast to keep millions of colonial 'subjects' of the British Empire in line and in total and undemocratic subservience to their unelected Kings and Queens.
If the BBC truly means well with their proposed Komla Dumor Foundation, then I dare them to establish it in Komla Dumor's Ghana for African journalists and to have as their core curriculum, orientation or funding, the training of African journalists to combat the vicious misdemeanors and menace of global cultural and political imperialism that continues to hound and suppress the genuine development of Africa. This would be the most befitting and lasting memorial to the great Komla Dumor who was not an avid Nkrumaist for nothing.

In any case, the Dumor family have a family spokesperson who has been intermittently coming out in almost all the media facilities to thank and to give a run-down of whats going on and where. Unless perhaps you live somewhere out in the North Pole, you would surely have been informed by that channel.
Why and what do you want to see or hear from his wife anyway?

Yesterday,I posted a contribution under one of the lead submissions on Ghana web on the death of the late komla Dumor where the Ghana Journalists Association,s chairman was reported to have said among other things that,Government shd help to establish a foundation in memory of our late fellow citizen, and after scanning through the numerous suggessions, both pros and cons I wrote that, the late Komla says Ghanaians should cry for their children and themselves but not him,and buttressed it to the fact that, the BBC as one of the great International Broadcaster has a constitution to cater for its staff including a situation like what has happened to our late fellow citizen, therefore they should concentrate on what they can do in terms of local exigensies and stop making unhelpful suggessions.

Do you appreciate the purpose of "immotalization"? He was a very very positive example to young and old. He projected Ghana and Africa in a manner that no journalist or broadcaster before him had been able to do within this short period of time. if it's not stupid black man jealousy, why would any rational human being object to such a proposition.

BBC's Foundation is far better than the State burial Nonsense, suggested by the GJA, and which the Government is said to be considering.
Whereas Komla achieved a lot and made Ghana proud, state burial must be reserved for high State Positions like the Presidency. A State Burial, with 21 Gun salute, will be an overkill.
A similar Foundation and/or a top Civilian Award from the Government will be better.

National Awards have been so abused in the recent past that it wont amount to anything much, considering some of the miscreants who have been awarded on the basis of political expediency and sycophancy. Lets spare the dignity and the memory of Komla Dumor from this demeaning charade and circus. Lets consider something meaningful, productive and respectable.
However we also dont want a 'similar foundation' for Komla as you stated. What we want is a better and a much more meaningful foundation with both private sector and govt support that will attract budding nationalist journalists from across Africa, to benefit from a meaningful or superior category of journalistic engagement and studies. The selected graduands of such an 'experience' will stand out high and tall above all others in their chosen field.
