The Konongo kaya cannot carry the load yet will not allow anyone to carry it for him.This is inefficiency at its apogee and is very shameful.This government is simply incompetent!

Stop wasting the nation's money on feeding grants. Let the parents feed their own children. This grant has been going on for 56 years!! Parliament should meet and decide when to stop this. Say 5 years, after that no more.

They have produced 2 presidents so far and are aspiring to produce 4 more before scrapping the policy. The delays will continue forever because the prominent ones evolving from the policy invest in Accra and do not go home to empower their own. What is key is that if they hold the presidency and influence in Parliament then the Southern resources will forever pay their school feeding and boarding costs 100% in the NORTH !!

Govt should stop financing boarding secondary schools,this was good in the NKrumah's era but not now.In the advanced countries only private institutions handle boarding secondary schools.Besides,there are certain conditions for students to have free education and feeding.You only qualify for that when your parents have no resources or just very little.Students whose parents have enough resources never get free education and feeding anywhere.Why is it that in Ghana we don't put any condition in place before offering freebies?Thaank you.

The North has produced 2 presidents since Kwame Nkrumah introduced Free education. It is in proper in this day and age for anybody to have 100% Free school fees and free boarding charges. The people in the North must also pay a little as we do in the South and top it up with a subsidy. The subsidy is delayed in both the Northern and Southern schools but the schools in the South opened because some 70% of the costs are borne by parents whilst the Northerners cannot open because they are waiting for 100% from central government!!

A GOOD CHUNK OF THIS FUNDS WOULD GO INTO PRIVATE POCKETS. IN THIS CASE THE FOOD DSERVED TO THE CHILDREN ARE REDUCED IN QUALITY AND QUANTITY. I THINK THE SCHOOL FEEDING PROGRAM NEEDS
