You are right but you should do your assigned job...responsibilities and give feedback to the NDC and review The Better Agenda document.

Since you claim to belong to the NDC and are an integral part of the core die-hard NDC stop 'sitting on the fence' and 'pissing in from outside'...play a more proactive role...dig deep into your professorship (use the knowledge, skills and values that you acquired to become a professor, if not yet stale) and help change what is not (going) right for the benefit of the country!!!

We're beginning to witness the last years and last days of the NDC. Ghanaians have lived in poverty and misery under the NDC for far too long--19yrs and another 5yrs without improvements in the lives of the people. The wheels have started falling off.

Dr Tony Aidoo was telling the truth. One has to look around Ghana and around the world to see what Dr Kwame Nkrumah had done in eight of government. Indeed, if the 7-years Development Plan was not derailed by the coup in 1965, he would have done even much better!

He was able to do what he did because his opponents fell into oblivion. He had free hands to take vigorous action to develop the youth and the country, unlike today when every action the government takes is met with resistance from the opposition party, their supporters and sympathisers. With that kind of attitude, the country, undoubtedly, would lag behind in development. It has caused it to be overtaken by countries like Malaysia, Singapore and others which Ghana was ahead of in development during Kwame Nkrumah's era. If our opposition party's attitude does not change very soon countries like the Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Angola, Tanzania and others, with similar stage of development as ours, will move far ahead of Ghana as well.

We have thought democracy will make the country to be developed appropriately and fairly easily but it is becoming a drawback, maybe. Perhaps, we are taking the democracy much too far to the extent that it is impeding our early national development.

Both Mills and Mahama perhaps with the exception of Rawlings are known Nkrumaist and derive their inspiration from him.Nkrumah as a visionary is not at all in doubt.He has the bigger picture and ensures that it translates into reality.Hence the Akosombo Dam for the countries Industrial take off,hence the Tema harbour and Township,Hence the industrial complexs we saw all over the country and the question of Africas development through the combining of resources by uniting.

These are the make up of visionary leaders and if Naziru can't comprehend what Dr Aidoo is alluding to then he is not worth a spokes person for the ndc.There is no doubt that if it were not for the 66 coup Ghana will be a showpiece on the continent of Africa and rub shoulders with the best abroad.

It is not too late to still apply his acquired knowledege and do research and devise solutions, reforms or make recommendations to his party...after all that is the essence of his heading the Policy Monitoring and Evaluation unit of the NDC...

Or perhaps his 'apo' is too dilute to convince Mahama & co as feasible?

These are the normal things every gov't would do. GH has large deposits of bauxite. If a gov't came in and decides to develop the bauxite industry and set a deadline, the people of GH would be waiting for a cheap and uninterrupted source of power for the smelter, railtracks for the transport and all that the industry would require. Nkrumah started that but the rest is history
