The youth of GH particular do want the easy way. How do you invest in someone who is not willing? The youth should be seen to be interested in science, engineering and whatever. It does not just take rhetoric.

What is the mission of the youth of Ghana today? Dress well, eat well, f--- well and have fun!

Sometimes when I listen to people talking of the youth as "future leaders" I wonder. Maybe "future" because they would replace their parents after they die. But to think that a Ghanaian youth that is only interested in fun and fun games is going to be able to take up serious leadership positions and be able to compete with their counterparts in other parts of the world is very difficult to believe.

Instead of combining fun with the learning of skills in how to make simple tools for the use of our people and thinking up solutions for problems such as diseases and sanitation, Ghana's youth today are nly interested in how to get money to buy the latest electronic gadgets and clothes. We have a long way to go!

It isn't about the number in quantities of NATURAL RESOURCES a nation has,but the quality of the citizenry that can process it.
SKILL,SKILLS,SKILLS & SKILLS THAT SEAL THE DEAL.
WE PUT OUR CHILDREN AT A VERY SERIOUS,FRAGILE,UNCOMFORTABLE,RISKY SITUATION,BY NOT GIVEN THEM THE NECESSARY TOOLS TO FACE THE LIFE,WE HAVE BROUGHT THEM IN.
African leaders do not try at all.
If they have not been able to wean themselves from our colonial masters,how could the youth follow suite?
If they keep selling our NATURAL RESOURCES without any comprehensive,well calculated plans and strategies in place,to process it,when and how will these youth emulate them,let alone starting one on their own?
AFRICA GROPES THROUGH AN UNENDING CAPITAL PROBLEMS WITHOUT ANY PLAN TO COME OUT.
It's kind of serious to see our youth heading towards nowhere,because those who lead the way are all wrong people.
LET'S TRAIN OUR YOUTH IN TECHNICAL,SCIENTIFIC,INNOVATIVE SKILLS,TO TAKE THE MANTEL AND UTILIZE IT TO THE ADVANTAGE OF AFRICA.
