It does not matter which party Maurice Ampaw belongs. There is too much stupid talk in the country any idiot can jump on radio and just talk silly and get away with it. If you want to do politics, stick to the issues and not defame characters. If you have nothing intelligent or sensible to say, just zip your lips. The fact that one is a politician doesnt mean he knows or should know everything, and in my opinion this action by Maurice Ampaw is one of the reasons we have the law courts. How much does he earn in a year and expects to earn in his life time (if one courl determine how long he would live) and how much he stands to loose in his life time as a result of the alleged damage to his reputation and business interests as the direct and indirect consequences of the defamation, if he is able to prove such damages?
A joker parading as a serious lawyer to be engaged by a media house to give commentary on the SC Petition and thereafter tour the country to miseducate and misinform the public.
It's only in Ghana that such nonsense is entertained.
He will end up regretting for going court because if I were representing the the other party, I will compel him during cross examination to explain to the court all the rubbish he is been throwing at the SC petition judgement. Is there anyone out there who remembers Atubiga, the NDC activist who swore on radio that he was ready to sacrifice his life to ensure that the NDC would remain in power even if the Supreme Court ruled against them in the electoral petition. This guy spoke as if he held the key to world peace and dared anyone to stand in his way. But when the time came and he was dragged to the Supreme Court he was shivering like a fish out of water.
I hope when the time comes this Alhaji Nasiru will go to court and prove his allegations and end Lawyer Ampaw's 'political fornication' as he puts it.
