It's long overdue for this. The one house, one toilet project is now a forgotten agenda. Besides the bill gate's foundation supporting households with $1000000 thereby reducing the cost per household, government equally need to support in further cutting the cost of the project especially in our schools. Other non governmental organizations into health, sanitation and environment should emulate this generous support to the ordinary ghanaian. The menace of poor disposal of faecal matter need special attention. The technology should be extended to the north as well.

Jojo - the sanitation coverage in Ghana has been at unmentionably low levels way before NDC. I went to KNUST (2013) and couldn't find a single public toilet unless I used Vodafone's internet cafe!

STATUTORY NOTICE OF LEGAL SUIT BY EXPRESS 2020 COMPANY LTD

We write as the management of Express 2020 Company, a limited liability company duly registered under the laws of Ghana, and in respect of the commercial premises at the Kumasi Kejetia Terminal built by the company.

It will be recalled that as part of the illegal adventures of the KMA which resulted in the seizure and operation of the business of Freko FD Company, KMA has collaterally taken over two urinals and a borehole belonging to Express 2020. The intelligence available to management is that the next imminent attack is the seizure of this commercial premises. The premises was put up not by Freko but by Express 2020 under a written, subsisting and valid BOT agreement dated....

It is notable that unlike Freko FD, the management of Express 2020 cannot wait for the illegality to occur. Accordingly, management hereby gives statutory notice to the KMA that Express 2020 shall commence legal action to halt the treatened seizure, recover lost income, punitive damages for breach of contract and damage to reputstion should the imminent threat of seizure of any more of the comany's businesses takes place for any reason without recourse to law and due process.

In the meantime, management has instructed company solicitors to take necessary legal action to recover the other seized businesses including damages for lost income during the relevant period and loss of reputation.

We hope the KMA will be properly and well advised.
