The NDC style of politics is too destructive, l keep asking why wont they concentrate on their achievements to get the peoples mandate but always lies and baseless propaganda. Some of our journalist are so stupid they think that things that can only be said as a joke can be published in newspapers. You claim an NPP source hinted about this meanwhile the NPP has Gen Secretary, Chairman and other executives, that you can cross check information with, but in your stupidty you just concoct any lies and publish it for the whole world to read, just because there is freedom of speech in Ghana. When Dis-honourable Amoateng was arrested for the drug offence; then President Kuffuor went to Amoateng's Constituency (Remember Amoateng was a member of parliment when he was engaged in the drug peddling using parliamentary diplomatic passport) and pleaded to the people to vote for NPP on the basis that amoateng was their brother who fell into misfortune. Misfortune indeed. You wait and see. NPP will parade Dishonourable amoateng around their party headquarters in Ghana and extol his false virtues and exhault the youth to emulate him. Mark my words. Their collective party conscience is dead long ago.

No wonder it is alleged your twice beaten presidential candidate is himself a drug user. Think again. We have teenagers in Ghana who's life is being destroyed by greedy people like Amoateng. Go the psychiatric hospitals to check for yourself. Why would NPP want to showcase a drug pusher? NPP will continue to be in opposition unless efforts are made to dissociates the party from known drug pushers and peddlers.

Second,National Security and Ministry of Interior should ban and clear the airport of any such gathering. However,if the supporters ignore this and went ahead then, the American government should ban the entire leadership of the NPP from ever stepping foot on American government soil.

Did the editor bother to contact the leadership of the NPP for the official position of the party on this issue before publishing the news? Or was it just a means of cheap popularity?
It would be madness for the NPP to embark on such a foolish plan, however charitable Amoateng had been before he was arrested for smuggling heroin, and it would be a disgrace to the entire nation if the hierarechy of the party in fact hatched such ideas. Amoateng was inprisoned for a crime, and any such exconvicts would want to smuggle themselves back into the country when set free rather than expose themselves to public ridicule the way the Al-Hajj paper is contending will happen.

Let us consider the whole story as one of the diabolic deeds of the Ghanaian gutter press!
