Is he still in office? If No then the story should have been headed "Ex National Security Officer .......". Secondly a crime is a crime and the law of the land must be allowed to take its cause.

In America, when one commits a crime he/her faces the crime without his,her political views. But, in Ghana after a crime they (criminals) try to hide in the leading(ruling) party to cover up their crimes.
