  By the way we cannot go on this wild goose chase of plastering the whole country with statues and naming places after every politician who passes away. That is gross misplacement of priorities initiated by useless sycophants. Come to think of it what monumental achievement did this Ford Camel achieve to warrant any monument? Useless people move on. Most politicians are corrupt anyway, don't immortalize them on top of their stealing our monies.

  Thank you Philty McNasty. I don't just understand some of our politicians. The man was an MP, same as the numerous MPs the region had. He was a Regional Minister, so as the other hard working regional ministers before him. The only difference is, he died in office and we congratulate him for that. I don't see the reason why something should be named after him. After all, he already holds the title of the First Volta Regional Minister to die in Office.
  
  Naming a hostel after him will not put food on the table of Voltarians, neither will it improve the living standards of the people.
  
  I think many Ghanaians go into politics just to make money because, it seems most of them do not know what their responsibilities are.

  Even the founder of the biggest and most successful secondary School in the Buem District, Bueman Senior High School (BUSEC), who incidentally happen to be the first MP of the Buem District during the Busia Region the late Mr C.K. Nayo has not been immortalised by naming his school after him.
  
  Why should Hon Kamel be immortalised when the Late C.K Nayo has not been immortalised.
  
  What legacy did Kamel leave in Buem that surpasses others like the late C.K.Nayo whose efforts in 1958 have until today given children from villages and hamlets around Buem the opportunity to have an education.
