Could someone tell me if the Government of Ghana has any energy demand and supply policy or future plans in place? If non is in place or planned then the Government should start thinking about such a plan if the country is seriously considering further economic development.

Over the last three days we have had been repeated eratic power outages. As I write, the light has been off three times today and is almost three hours since the last one. I cannot see this ending any moment soon, and the earlier the president stop making any promise on the light, the better it will be for its own image. As a Ghanain with a short memory, he seems to have forgotten so soon the number of times he was caught lying regarding when the loadshedding was going to cease.

often times, you get the feeling some of them even relish the chaotic situation brought on by the 'dumsor-dumsor'. The time has come for the sector minister to impose his footprint and take charge,than allow every Tom,Dick and Harry to be making confusing statements all over rthe the place!
