Didn't anyone in the NDC know of the likely effects of the implementation of SSSS on the national purse before they got it started ?

And why did the NDC create additional districts resulting in 45 new constituencies in a haste, prior to the 2012 elections, knowing that MPs,DCEs,MCEs e.t.c. were all going to be paid from the consolidated funds ?

We have visionless thieving idiots parading themselves as politicians, who even can't put together one and one, and yet so power-hungry that they will do whatever it takes with their likes in the EC to win elections at any cost.

The problem here is, huge sums of moneys are paid to Government employees but the productivity level STILL remains LOW and as USUAL. Therefore, the scheme or the program should be suspended with immediate effect. The government itself is gone off track and does not know where the "ship" is heading. Too slow to think and react. I am disappointed in this regime. It has a big problem with management and control.

The paper contains very brilliant analysis of the economic challenges facing Ghana. Surprisingly the government and its supporters played propaganda football with such an intelligent piece. The Hon. MP would not have made this call if he had read the paper.

Fellow countrymen, may I advise that you should not easily accept things at face value especially when dealing with a government driven by propaganda. They keep touting 70% of revenue being spent on salaries without providing the basis for this.

Single Spine should force government to keep an eye on its budget (expenses and revenues) and should force the Mahama government and subsequent governments to stop their unchecked stealing that has gone on for far too long. Ghana generates a lot of revenues were it not for the mismanagement and stealing that has become character trait of all of Ghana's civil servants at managerial levels through the legislative branch to the executive and judicial branches of government.

The SSSS exercise shouldn't be halted or suspended. This is because it will create more labour unrest as a good majority of the government workers would be enjoying the new salaries while those yet to be placed on the new structure would find themselves having been cheated. Rather, the SSSS implementation has to be expedited. Salary increments should rather be frozen immediately for at least 5 years in order to generate enough money for other important projects.
