Mrs Musaka said: “Today we are celebrating one of the giants of Africa, but we cannot forget the man who started the whole thing; Dr Kwame Nkrumah”.
Madam Jeanette Thokozile Ndhlovu, South Africa’s High Commissioner to Ghana, was full of praise of Ghana’s principal role during her country’s struggle for independence and against racial discrimination.
She lauded the role of Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first President, who contributed so much during their liberation struggle".

Precisely what the so called free enterprise system and private sector development will leave us. The private sector is monopolized at the top by capitalists who control the finance machinery to out compete entrepreneurs in the developing nations in Africa. If Africa follows the west and its "private sector is the engine of development" concept, rather than the socialist concept with the government as the leader in development programs, the way the CPP was going in the 1960s under Nkrumah, the west will recolonize Africa again. Their own economies are crumbling whereas Africa's economy is growing, and they have the money to invest in everything from the extractive industry to the hospitality industry. Any African nation that thinks they can compete against the west in private sector development will lose. Capitalism will swallow Africa like a python swallowing eggs.

There are a thousand issues that are buzzing around in the public domain. If this one does not interest you, please tune in to any one of the others.
Finally both of the two gentlemen being discussed represent important pillars of thought and political direction in the development of Africa and the Black man all over the world. They may be physically dead in earthly terms, but their political legacy remains relevant and moot to the present and the future of Africa.
I suggest that you go round the corner to the local akpeteshie bar and take a tot and settle for one of those naive and petty African movies. That may excite you more than this intellectual discourse

You've said the absolute truth and it warms my heart that others can see this most evil and long-continuing imperialist strategy against the CPP. It's not surprising that the two people who started this unnecessary Mandela vrs Nkrumah controversy, Kweku Baako and Kwesi Pratt, are well-known shills for NPP and NDC. This is exactly how the imperialists operate - using people from deep inside their target. That's why we had very dubious presidential candidates worming their way into CPP's highest
rungs of power. You have already seen Sakara pushing multinational-owned GMO's and talking about running for the CPP presidential nomination again! Until CPP maintains tight vigilance and serious vetting of its candidates, it is doomed.

Really Africa's Nkrumah laid a foundation of love and life line for the liberation of Africans from the hands of their destroyers, the white evil machine that continues today to crush Africa's development by eliminating their brightful ones.
Whatever things be Nkrumah surely loved Mandela who was also a freedom fighter in his South Africa. Basically God used Nkrumah as the foundation, on which to stand to develop the strategy of overcoming the evil world of the white's evil mind towards the blackman, especially the visionary ones among the black race.
Naturally Nkrumah being a father to all those freedom fighters would never refuse to receive the ANC'S leader, Mandela and his group. The Ghanaians of the opposite side of Nkrumah should not try to create an enviroment of hatred between our Africa's greatest man Nkrumah and his younger brother also of higher mind of love, Mandela.
Lets cheer up the day of Mandela, for the good sacrifice he made for his people in South Africa in particular and Africa and the whole wide world, showing the white people the way of how to share genuine love among people concerning God's properties in the world we live.
In normal terms Mandela' eventual reaction reminds and teaches the white man's world that it should not be of the killing of the intelligent Black people so that they take the world as their only property--an evil mind.
The world is for all races. Finally shame unto the white people's evil minds. Living together in this world makes life worth living.

Ironically, it was these same reactionary elements who caused the ex-President to miss the meeting with Mandela. It was their terrorist attack in Kulungugu which resulted in the President needing long-term treatment and recuperation hence missing meeting the anti-apartheid icon. Mandela came to Ghana in 16962 because Nkrumah had by then lit the torch to proclaim that the Black race was equal to all other races and had the divine right to govern itself. That much is argued in a philosophical context in his book Consciencism. He justified black emancipation through arms struggle when Busia and Co were postulating dialogue with a regime which regarded the Black race not only an inferior race but a pariah of mankind.
The argument as to who is the greatest of them all is pointless. Obama said Mandela is the LAST OF THE GREAT AFRICAN LIBERATORS. He did not say the first or the greatest but LAST OF THE GREATEST. Being a Kenyan by heritage he is obviously aware of the role of Jomo Kenyatta and others like Nkrumah and Haile Selassie not to mention other Black folk like Marcus Garvey etc.
What we as succeeding generations have to do ids craft a unifying and all embrasive political philosophy that adopts the good in everyone and not engage in a pointless argument as to who is the greatest.

You are absolutely right that President Obama’s speech was misinterpreted. That is why I have pointed out that the two instigators of this unnecessary and divisive controversy based on falsehoods were agents-provocateurs.
However, it is important to also point out – and this is not connected to the Mandela vrs Nkrumah phony controversy – that Obama’s actions (policies) have not been misread. Obama, like all the leaders of the Western world, former friends and allies of Apartheid, highlighted Mandela’s forgiveness of his jailers and Apartheid South Africa, in his speech. The question begging to be asked then is HAS THE WESTERN WORLD SHOWN ANY “FORGIVENESS” TO BLACK SOUTH AFRICA? HAS WHITE SOUTH AFRICA SHOWN ANY “FORGIVENESS” TO BLACK SOUTH AFRICA? HAS THE UNITED STATES SHOWN ANY “FORGIVENESS” TO THE ANC”. To his very moment – as I write these comments -the United States, even under Obama’s leadership, maintains several ANC veteran freedom-fighters on their “terror watch list”!!! On October 28th, Tokyo Sexwale , a former ANC activist, prisoner at Robben Island, and ex-Minister of Housing was detained at JFK Airport in New York City on arrival because his name was on the terror watch list! Mind you, Sexwale is now a thriving capitalist – a billionaire Diamond Magnate – who had flown to New York on business! Nelson Mandela himself was only removed from the terror watch list in 2008, on the initiative of Condoleeza Rice, who disclosed that she had had to obtain a waiver each time Mandela wanted to visit the US even for a meeting at the UN. Presidents Jimmy Carter and Clinton did not remove Mandela from the terror watch list but they were there in South Africa “paying tribute”! How many more ANC veterans are still on the US watch list? How much of the 90% of fertile South African land has been restored to blacks (from whom it was stolen)? How much reparations in the form of aid has the Western world given to Black South Africa?
Forgiveness, my nyass! The struggle will continue!

What? Who said the battle is over? It is a new form of colonialism which Nkrumah warned Africa about. Nkrumah called it Neo-Colonialism, which the imperialists have re-named GLOBALIZATION! They simply are using surrogate Africans to do the work of the new colonialism. They now sit in their offices in New York, London , and Paris, and manage Africa through our own people. Don't build schools, create jobs, no housing for the people, no healthcare, no transportation, water, electricity, consult us before you embark on any project. Actually don't use your own people to build anything, even digging graves. We will do all the work for you. And when it comes to food, we are even going to introduce now seeds called Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs)to replace your indigenous foods. Corruption is a product of neo-colonialism.The battle is NOT over. It has even become much harder to defeat through our own ignorance. That is the battle we are now fighting. IGNORANCE.

She is quiet all the time and appear not to care about what is going on in the nation. (The same goes for Dr Nduom, the PPP, and the other parties)
The work of critical opposition is all left to NPP to do. How do they expect people to know their views, policies to vote for them when election comes. Is it surprising that they get no votes at elections?
The only time Samia comes out of her shell is when someone criticises her father or says something unforgiving. This is not how you win political office - by staying stum on all other issues if you are leader/chairperson of a serious party.
On newsfile and other fora, they never demand representation on the panel to discuss the issues of the day. How the hell do you inform people about what your party thinks about how to deal with Ghana's problems and what your solutions are.
Your politics, SAMIA and that of the CPP is becoming kindergarten stuff. The same goes for NDuom and the other parties.
