Good one there at least I have seen a sensible person who can reason and think, first and foremost, what is education at all? In a country where I come from, they defined education as anyone who can read and write English language that is how they defined education in Ghana. A country where a lot of people look down upon those who can't speak and write English language do you think such country can develop no wonder Ghana is a country with good resources but the citizens are mentally weak unable to think and reason as well, they are still slaves to the so-called Europeans. They are still colonized mentally and physically but the reason is that they don't know that they are still under colonization. So in s nutshell that is how illiteracy is defined in Ghana. Then one may ask that how about the countries who are using their own language to study are they illiterates? a country like France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Finland, Norway, China etc can we classify their education system as substandard because they are not using English language to teach in their institutions? Africans will always embraced everything from west and east without thinking deep and its side effect in the future and we hate our own things so tell me are we humans? We always lionize the oppressors and disowned ours and we called ourselves educational elites now listen to a proverb from Europeans to Africans “you can take a monkey from bush but you can't take bush from monkey" how are we going to interpret it? it's simple to Europeans, Africa is bush let's see how they describe Africa they use the word Sub-Saharan and the question is do we have sub-Europeans or sub-Asians or sub-Americans, etc look how they have cited Africa in a World map, Africa as a continent is always at the bottom of the World map, the question is why they didn't cite Europe, Asia, America and Australia at the bottom but only Africa think about it brothers and sisters, the proverb means an African a monkey can come to western or eastern country to study or do anything but because he/she is from Africa you can't take Africa mentality from him or her then the stereotype goes, they are less humans, they don't have food to eat, always fighting among themselves etc so why Africans shouldn't cling to their own and abandoned their stupid act but yet still Africans are upholding their language and their barbaric culture, 500 years we are still slaves so when are we going to emancipate ourselves as a people created by YHWH.
The time has come for Africans to come together as one people and put their difference away and unit as people it has been a long time in slavery and colonization. The time has come for Ghanaians to put away their difference and unit to develop their nation it has been a long time in slavery and colonization.
God of our fathers have mercy on us especially banana republic of Ghana. Ghana, Ghana a country with good resources I had wanted to gather my people under one canopy as hen gathered it chicks but my people have abandoned their wisdom through thinking and now following the way of westerners through their devilcracy which is called democracy so now my people cannot be able to manage their own affairs, my people do not appreciate things manufactured in their country, my people preach devilcracy and practice vices, my people preach patriotism but they are not patriotic, my people have lost their sense of judging and now we are in a doom state they can't differentiate good things from bad ones and now engulf with tribalism which has become a canker in the country through bogus so-called educational elites and stomachticians who called themselves as politicians to separate the people in other not to come together to fight against their evil planning. A voice calling from within shouting my people, my people come together to build your nation we were created in the same image not let this stomachticians separate you they are doing it for their own selfish gain so wise up, awake from your slumber, the day is far spent and the night is near so let's ignore all these tribalism stuffs and come together as one people because together we can build a better nation.
The only way Africans can develop is to use their own language to study and do everything and stop patronizing anything from east or west, a small country like Ghana we can’t develop it why? Because we have pseudo intellectuals who always claims that they are the best but in reality they are at the bottom of the pit, our education system is not good, our education system does not allow us to think inside and out outside the box so for Ghana to develop it needs critical thinkers and nature incliners who can put things together other than that it will take millions of years we will still be where we are. Anyone who wants to study Nature University can contact me wellsbrains2000@yahoo.com, whatspp 008613566124757 when you contact me tell me which my article that you are interested so we can discuss it deeply because I have presented numerous articles on this web

kane you asked that what is the source or origin of all that deprivation which you say :...has driven all her (Ghanaian) people away from their motherland to impart their knowledge to citizens of other countries"?
The source of that deprivation is the fact that capable people, whether educated or not, abandon their needy and deprived countries (like Ghana) and their people to go and slave for others for only earthly material upliftment and gains.
This fact alone undermines their stature and reduces them and whatever presumed knowledge they may have acquired to ground zero. If knowledge cannot be purposefully and directly applied to uplift the suffering mass of humanity but is rather misapplied to enhance the exclusive pursuits of personal greed, egos and comforts of those who seek only to prove that they are superior to all other racial species of Gods creation, then that knowledge is satans knowledge.
The educated African and African intellectuals have collectively proven time and time again that they are redundant to the specific needs of the community and the environment that created them. We are not going to school or being educated to make others more powerful so that they can continue to oppress and cheat us more because we presume that we are no more slaves. We should therefore be going to school to acquire knowledge and the ability to raise our standards of life not only to equal that of others who are ahead of us but for the convenience of all of humanity. Why should we continue to cheaply dispose of our human and material resources to the benefit and advantage of others when we are still so relatively backward? Why should we continue to be patronized as if we are racially inferior when we resist such derogatory descriptions of ourselves by those same people who are cheaply exploiting our human and material resources, as insulting?
Then also this rural mind-set nonsense of glorifying educational merits for its own sake must cease. I really do not give a damn about anybody who has ten PhDs and who comes from a community or country where over 70% of his countrymen and women do not have access to common potable water or they dont have toilets in their houses. Either we seem to have totally missed the point about education or the underlying essence – if any, of our educational philosophy has totally missed the point – our peculiar point. This feudalistic adulation for personal academic excellence in the same way that Chiefs are extolled for no other reason than that they come from a privileged ancestry above others, must give way to reason and sensible modern ways of achieving our objectives as a people.
Likewise, I scorn with total derision, a man who has his head in the skies and is flying around in space whilst his brothers and sisters are dying in their hundreds of thousands from hunger, malnutrition, social deprivation and the consequent basic ailments such as malaria, whooping cough, diphtheria, diabetes and so on and so forth in Africa as well as in America and other countries in-between.

I am not sure whether it was the said departed Prof Kludze's wish or the ill-advised person who wrote this article who recklessly introduced the vile political element into this eulogy.
In the above article, he is quoted thus, "As a distinguished student leader, he (Prof Kludze) was instrumental in resisting the repressive policies of the Kwame Nkrumah regime. He earned his BA and LLB degrees from the University of Ghana, and as usual, he was at the top of his class after taking his final university examinations from a Kwame Nkrumah Political University (jail)."
Without mincing words, that foolhardy attempt to weigh Prof Kludze against the overwhelmingly indomitable attributes of the African of the millennium, the immortal Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, has rather greatly injured the image and the quoted achievements of Prof Kludze.
Afterall it was the unprecedented social and educational infrastructure that Kwame Nkrumah laid, that made Prof Kludze what he ultimately became. But for Kwame Nkrumah, Kludze would have been fishing 'keta schoolboys' in the Volta River for a living instead of being in university as pertained in most other African countries at the time.
If Kwame Nkrumah incarcerated terrorists without trial, just like the almighty super Democratic country of the USA is known for doing, how come this Prof Kludze did not speak against the practice in America or the terrible repression of over 40 million African-Americans when he was in America?
Also was it possible that Prof Kludze was involved with the shameful terrorist attacks on the African of the millennium? Is this the reason why he was the writer hinted that Kludze was incarcerated?

Truly there are brilliant guys. I believe everyone can recount staying in class with some brilliant person. The late professor was first in class to the University. These are people who should constitute think tanks and Ghana abounds in such.
The other dimension of this story is that our educational system works thanks to teacher unlike other failed states. The government must constitute a project team to research into past and present brilliant guys and ladies find out where they are now and network with them to propel the nation forward. You remember the German rocket scientist and doctors who were sent to USA to continue with research in various fields. The government must be non-political about this and champion this cause. God bless our Homeland Ghana.

In the article, the writer said that an LLD is higher than a P.hD. Well, an LLD is a Doctorate degree for those who have LLMs in law. A P.hD is given to those who have an MA or MSc in a lot of academic fields. One is not higher than the other. In every field of study, degrees or letters are awarded to people based on their field of studies. A medical school graduate who studies medicine receives the MD designation. That person is a medical doctor but would still have to go back to school to do an MSc or a P.hD in medicine. Those who study law go from an LLB, LLM and then LLD. Same as going from a BA, MA and then a P.hD.
In the American legal education system, a JD (Juris Doctorate) is awarded to students after the completion of the legal studies. The above does not mean they have a doctorate degree. It is just a designation because in the American and Canadian system, you need a first degree before being admitted to law schools, unlike in most countries common wealth countries, you go from A levels straight to law school.

Mr Kludze (the son) would have us believe that he has a Ph.D, and the African Astronaut to fly a spacecraft into orbit. And I asking him to let us know what his Ph.D thesis was about, and who his thesis advisor was. As for the Astronaut claim, I leave it to your imaginations. The whole world would have been aware of a Ghanaian Astronaut who flew a spacecraft. It blows my mind that someone will perpetuate such an impersonation.
