It is my suggestion that, there should be a special mass education in the country on how to chose a befitting leader and a representative to guide the people in all elections. REMEDIAL CLASSES MUST also be organized for our MPs to understand politics. why they are there, how to serve the country better, and what the country expects from them as wll as needs from them. Imagine the time,talent and treasure wasted in this futile exercise. What was most annoying is the fact that a day before the results of eh election were declared Sir John had hailed the transparency of the election and for that matter the credibility of the elections and exhorted all NPPians to go to Church the following day in White to celebrate the Victory of NPP. Yet when the results were officially declared the very Sir John saw everything wrong with elections when independent bodies saw things better. What a joke. Wait NPP will lose the 2016,2020 and 2024 elections.

I will however never vote for Mr William Dankwa Akufo Ado if for nothing but for his dragging the EC and the sitting President to court to contest an election he knew he lost.

You can't compare Kufuor's era to present era. Think. It was not about Mills but rather Rawlings in 2000. Anybody at all on the NPP's ticket at that time would have won the election, because people were tired of Rawlings.

I did not vote for Nana Addo but he is one person that i believe has a no nonsense attitude to corruption. Amongst all the NPP people, he is the one person that has never been accused of corruption. One of the few who refused to buy Govt land, stopped taking his salary to sacrifice for the NPP Govt of the day and Ghana. Unfortunately, NPP hs not been able to sell the good qualities of Nana Addo but allowed infighting amongst themselves and propaganda by the NDC to tarnish the man reputation.
If you have facts that gives you the impression you won an event, what is wrong seeking clarification? Why do you make it sound like it's wrong to go to court? Please find a good reason not to vote for Nana Addo but not this court matter.

My last question is on what grounds would you vote for Alan? His height? His handsomeness, beacause you think he is competent or just because you like him?

The Fantes, Brongs, and all the other Akan groups have joined the Gas, Northerners, Ewes and other minority tribes to form a greater force because the do not want Ashanti/Akyem to divide Ghana. When you want to feel superior over all people that is what you get. NPP is falling apart and neither Nana nor Kyeremanteng could rescue it, if they do not rectify the mistakes which I think they will not, even CPP will be ahead of them come 2016. With this forces behind NDC I really do not see Npp making any impact, Mahama may just need yet another few weeks to campaign and he will win massively.

I think you are being unrealistic and emotional about this issue. How can a party that attracted over 5 million votes be said to be falling apart? If you think CPP could overtake NPP by 2016, then you are more naive and certainly not objective in your analysis and a waste of time debating with you. How many votes did CPP poll in the last election? As much as NPP have a problem to resolve, which is something every party that goes into opposition is faced with, i still see them as more effective, competent and productive in governance than NDC.

A lot of factors favoured NDC, the biggest was the sympathy vote due to the demise of our late president Mills and the fact that Ghanaians had never experienced such an event in our history. Had the late president lived through the 2012 elections, NDC would have lost, and that is a fact.

NPP should nullify NDC's tribal and hatred strategy; always using the anti-Asante propaganda for its course while indulging in their tribalism, "vote for me I am a Northerner just like you" and "vote for me I am fante, adze wo fie aye"

This time, is should be about that strategy and common sense and not just because someone is more popular among the NPP electorates to lead the party. If we go by that, Akufo will still win the primaries. But NPP should be careful and counsel Akufo and Alan to take the back seat, else, NPP will lose the election easily.

He should forst contest a parliamentary seat and if he wins that constituency becomes his political base and upon that he can. On test. That is the reason why I believe Dan Botwe will one day be elected President of Ghana because he foresaw it and decided to contest in Okere where he has won an representing them. Anytime Dan decided to contest the flagbearership of NPP that will be easy for him because he will have a base to suuport him. He Dan knew he was jumping the ship when he contested to be a clagbearer which he lost. Now he is doing the right thing. This is exactly what Alan should do, anything less than that is a mission impossible, not what Appiah Ofiri is saying.

In 2008 it President Kuffour who did not help Nana to win. In 2012 it was Alan and his supporters who worked against Nana to win. Afari Gyan, Asantehene, and in fact, Asantefuo have all been blamed as the cause of the man's defeat.

It is sad indeed for people to point accusing fingers at Asantes as the ones who didn't vote enough for Nana Addo to win when in fact the percentage of votes he gained from the region in both elections were far higher than what the man got from his own region.

NPP in general and Nana Addo and his men in particular should know better to desist from this dangerous Asante bashing before it's too late. You cannot expect to enjoy our support and when something goes wrong we would be the first to be accused. Nana Addo should enjoy the support of the Asante people while it lasts!!!!

It was not Alan supporters that started the nonsense about Nana using hard drugs. It came from the opposition parties and Kwasi Pratt is on record to have told that falsehood to the CIA as evidenced by the Wikileaks report on Ghana. Appiah Ofori should not re-write history. The Presidential Initiative was not a failure for there is no evidence to support his claim and to claim that Alan supporters lost the 2012 election for Nana Addo and NPP is just unfair and not true. In the wake of the 2012 Election Petition, Appiah Ofori was so impressed by the performance of Dr Bawumiah that he openly advocated for Dr Bawumiah to lead the party in 2016. Dr Bawumiah would be a good choice but I remember when Nana Addo nominated Dr Bawumiah in 2008, Appiah Ofori unfairly criticised that decision. Appiah Ofori continues to flip-flop on national and NPP issues and clearly he is a confused politician. Appiah Ofori is crude and unrefined politician and lacks sound judgement on issues. I do not have any favourite as to who leads NPP to the next election but I know one thing for sure and that is I will never speak ill of any of the candidates who will put themselves up for that position. We have a common 'enemy' in the NDC and that is where we as members of our dear NPP should channel our energies. Appiah Ofori has goofed and he should do well to think carefully about his public pronouncements about NPP matters in future.

The chickens have finally come home to roost. The NPP thinks they are clever politicians but they always pay the price for their folly. P.C. Is really a patriot. Truth they say is like a cork. You can only hold it in water for a while, then it will definitely float. As the popular saying goes"you can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people all of the time". If they think by pitching Allan against Prez Mahama they have a chance to come to power then they must think again. As for Nana Addo he should forget about coming back in 2016, because Ghanaians are going to put the final nail in his coffin. Ghana deserves better.
