Too much partisanship is killing the country. This is true because most of the MPs we elect do not understand politics. It is my suggestion that, there should be a special mass education in the country on how to chose a befitting leader and a representative to guide the people in all elections. REMEDIAL CLASSES MUST also be organized for our MPs to understand politics. why they are there, how to serve the country better, and what the country expects from them as wll as needs from them. I belief this is one sure way to educate our MPs and to reduce too much partisanship in our parliament

As a policeman who should protect the minister from these kinds of things the man should have known better but to sentence him to 20 years in prison which will destroy him forever is outrageous and we the people of Ghana should do all we can to get this man a lighter sentence which should not be more than 3 months.
What are the so called Human Rights groups are doing about this case and others who are in prison for many years because of stupidity of some judges?
The media too is useless, instead of asking why that harsh sentence they are rather asking the police the swiftness of the prosecution which has nothing to do with the sentencing.
Do we have sentencing guidelines in the country or judges just decide what their minds tell them?
It is a shame.

20 years is abit primitive. We don't need a loan to bring our laws and procedures for sentencing into the modern era. This is wicked and disproportionate. This is why it's important to use your head when voting.

What judge imposed this harsh sentence. I would not be surprised if he is part of the Anlo mafia. These people have maintained a stranglehold on us for 30 yrs.It is time to break free of the oppression and intimidation ,the robbing us blind with impunity. They hve laid a foundation for degradation for 30yrs and we are still taking it. What the hell. We live but once. Probity and accountability for who? It was a propagandist jargon to "create, loot and share" and it still continues today.

I bet you that if Wayome, who has stolen millions of dollars, is found guilty, he won't be jailed for 20 years.
Can we have the name of the sentencing judge or magistrate? I'll like to write to him personally.
