The fight against corruption, abuse of power and impunity must be proactive and not reactive. We do not need to wait to be charged with poor leadership in fighting it before reacting in seeking to show leadership where we had all the opportunity but failed to be proactive.

Good leaders act; they do not wait to react to situations. Ghanaians will have difficulty electing another President from the geo-political north which the President and myself come from for more than thirty years after he has left office should this President fail to fight corruption, abuse of office and impunity in obedience to our ancestors and God during his tenure of office. Mark my words!

The fact is the late Alhaji Aliu Mahama was a very humble and honest man who served his country politically as the Vice President and in such a context there is no way His Excellency Aliu could be remembered without mentioning of his glorious political days, the current and the future socio-political and economic effects of his political contributions to this nation and what are the current negative things being done now that will effect his political legacies if care is not taken to make amendments.

The now dangerously exposed hypocrite ungrateful hungry Haruna Attah knows this very well and only him and his blind political followers like the political novice member on the Aliu's planning committee will dispute the unveiled brilliant current political issues articulately contributed by the thoughtful Dr. Mumuni Bawumia.

Instead of vindicating the sycophant Haruna Atta the member has unfortunately, in my view exposed himself as a riffraff ignoramus.

Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe
Kennedy Agyepong
Kwame Mpiani
Appiah Menkah and all the different elements in the NPP who differ in opinion with what the Asante/ Akim people say is right and nothing else. Say it again if what BAWUMIA did is contrary to the plans of the committee. I am not surprised he was even a "thought-after" dangerous substitute in this whole beautiful programme which would have benefitted the youth. Desperate people like Akufo-Ado and Bawumia would force the agenda everywhere they go; NOT MTN.

Some of you NDC supporters are so dumb it beggars belief! Bawumia offered a long historical analysis of economic mismanagement in Ghana. He even criticised the Kufuor administration for how it managed the economy in 2008. Incidentally, the only government Bawumia praised for its performance in macroeconomic management was the PNDC. What seems to irking ignorant supporters of the NDC is that Bawumia used the term "akonfem socialism" to describe the sort of corrupt rent-seeking that has been going under a so-called social democratic party. The question is: was he wrong in that reference? Who doesn't know about all the schemes NDC set up in the name of PPP to siphon money for the 2012 campaign and to reward contributors like Woyome? Bawumia only engaged in intellectual taunting of NDC. That's a very effective means of constructive criticism.

Now, you must really be an incorrigible fool to believe the Informer and its nameless informant. Has it occurred to you that this paper is never bold to name a source, even if the matter is as uncontroversial as this. Just recently, it has also claimed a "source" from the Kufuor camp has informed it that Kufuor is angry with Bawumia. So, now everyone can get up and peddle any falsehood because there will be people like you to believe it.

He really desmostrated that Islam was peaceful religion and i looked to him in many ways.. Although i wanted him to join the NDC, i had to respect his decision and stand, and with my deepest and warmest admiration, i really liked him anytime he spoke and adviced. I so had wish his first anniversary was celebrated peacefully and advocated on the positive things he wanted for Ghanaians and esp. the zongo communities... It is sad to note that this accountant only came to do politics and not to talk about the real issues that man sort out for.. am dissapointed and will not want to insult but seriously this guy doesnt think properly.. What Ghana needs is solutions not insults and policsing everything....

Desperation, frustration and great disappointment greatly impact/influence persons to behave immaturely so I humbly suggest that we should understand Dr. Bawumia and pardon him as well an infant politician.
