Unless there is a binding contract that has been breached, I see nothing wrong here when the President feels someone else might do a better job, or if he feels the positions needs fresh ideas or a new face.

This useless bickering about every petty issue needs to stop. Bature is always doing dirty work for the highest bidder.

Is Nana Boakye Asafo-Adjaye the only person qualified in Ghana to lead the GNPC? Even those that discovered oil have been dispensed with, how much more those who were hitherto twiddling their thumbs around their offices?

If Mahama has replaced Mr Awortwi, who was earlier replaced by Mr Kuffour, it goes to confirm that Kuffour was right afterall in removing the gentleman. Now Awortwi's own people cannot stand him. Coincidence they say does not occur twice. Bature, no attempt to throw spanners in the wheels of the adminstration of the Govt will make you an NPP man. Good friends are hard to find these days in Ghana. See how one 'Pepe' man is trying so hard to bring another down. The North is afterall not homogenous as it seems.

Awotwi should know that the ultimate is GOD who always defend the defenceless when it comes to the laws of nature.
I think nobody should cry for Awotwi because he does not deserve any sympathy because since Late Prof. Mills' time, he has not been listening to him but turn to do things that turns to sabotage him making his administration ineffective.
I will on this note implore the new Acting CEO to open his eyes and ears wide because there are people within the VRA loyal to Awotwi who might turn round to be sabotaging him to make things look as if he is not qualified to hold such a position.

Why is Alhaji Bature doing this to Ghana and Ghanians? Everyone is crying corruption and calling on John Mahama to do something. Mahama is removing the corrupt political appointees to move the country forward and instead of encouraging him, Bature is inciting people against the President.
What explanation was give by the president for appointing these people for him to give an explanation for relieving them of their duty, if they are found wanting? Please don't confuse the president for doing his duty. Posterity is the judge of Mahama. Mr. President, we are all at your service. Fire them all including all the members of the PURC. But i think your frequent and sometimes attention-seeking publications are not helping either your course as a potentially credible newspaper or those for whom this agenda inures to their benefit. Enough of the 'efee noko' ( never mind)mentality. Ghana must progress and advance in all sectors and department that promotes social and economic activities in our society.
The right people must lead our establishments, organisations and communities. People with commitments and vision who will devote their know-how and experiences for the betterment of the nation. We must put the 'right pegs in the right holes'. People who can deliver and exhibit efficiency, accountability, effectiveness, trust and integrity. Should the president or whoever in any position realise that Mr or Mrs Ananse can not discharge the duty entrusted on him then he must move out for a better person to take over the stewardship and I agree totally with the government provided the decision would not be made purely on the political and tribal sentiments.
Ghanaians like to compare our national standards to other nations yet they are rather reluctant or blatantly disagree to the appropriate and effective measures that are taken to correct the bad situations in our society. In the end it is the government or the President's fault . Thus the finger pointing and the blame mentality goes on. Our journalists, social and economic commentators must be real and always consider the betterment of Ghana first!.
