This guy came to the job offering no real vision for the nation, instead he only served up absolute nonsense - Ede be keke - which for some, loosely translates into just existing at the wheels, not knowing which direction to go. To add insult to injury, he is telling us that, like a car, he is only in the first gear in a four-year term, so we can expect to see a fourth gear only in the fourth year. To hear that allegory from a guy and a president who had been a vice-president for the previous four years, and claims that because of the ill-health of Atta Mess, he John Mahama was really the one in charge behind the scenes, then we have reasons to conclude nothing good or extraordinary can be expected that is different from what we have seen from the last four years. The value is going to be the same, and corruption is going to consume all of us under Mahama. Our people tell us, 'Edwa beso'a efiri anopa', to wit, one can gauge the prospects of a good market day from the signs the morning activities project. Right now the country is sinking fast from all reliable indicators. In the last four years, the cedi has depreciated a whole 100 percent under Mahama and Atta Mess. What other assurances are we waiting for? To be hit on the head with bricks?

Look, John Mahama is not cut for prime time, he does not know how, and all his protestations are excuses to cover incompetence and corruption in high places, of which him and his party are direct beneficiaries. What the fuck is Ede be keke? Nonsense!

She is a person of interest and must be arrested and investigated fully. Mahama and the other leaders are not doing enough to stop corruption. First of all, there must be severe punishment for any one found to be corrupt.(In China corruption is punishable by death} Secondly, there must be big reward for any one that provides information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of a corrupt official. May be confiscate the ill acquired properties of the criminal and give half to the informant. Thirdly, tackle problems concerning corruption from the root causes. Example is the immigrants on our soil mining gold. How could they do that without some Ghanians leading them? If I was Mahama, I would hold the "Kings and Queens" responsible. They are the custodians of the land and the laws governing them, it is their responsibilities to protect the land. No foreigners can mine gold on those lands in the villages unless the king is part of that operation. Can't you see Mr Maham, the way to get the support of Ghanians is to be tough on crime. How can you tell us to work hard to keep the ship afloat while you are doing nothing to stop the leak.

Poor Victoria Hammah! She is being vilified for aspiring to do something which every other politician in Ghana is doing or dreams of doing! I do agree with the thrust of Mr. Mpiani's comments, and Ms. Hammah is rightly sacked from her post. What a waste? She was living in a fish bowl and did not seem to appreciate the scrutiny which was visiting her. Corruption in Ghana is rampant, persistent and systemic. Look at the regime of Jerry John Rawlings. Rawlings took power at the point of a gun - essentially hijacking the whole country of Ghana. He called his activity a "revolution" because of course Ghana had gone through a period of "fa wo to begye GOLF" under the Akyeampong military regime. Rawlings was supposed to be the savior who would clean Ghana politics. No such luck. From the beginning, Rawlings and his gang looted the assets of private businessmen. After almost twenty years of dictatorship in which several Ghanaians are rumored to have disappeared, we now know that Rawlings sold a prize government enterprise to his own wife. To rub salt into this unbelievable corruption, Rawling's government then arranges for a foreign government financial entity to loan money to his wife with the Ghana government guaranteeing that loan. In other words Rawlings arranged for all the people of Ghana to guarantee a loan made to his wife for her (and presumably his) private business venture. This was all done 'fili falaa'! You could not make this up. If you were a screen writer and wrote this into a movie script, your producer will probably ask for a re-write. Yet in Ghana, this has been done and without any consequence. In comes Kuffuor for whom Mpiani was Chief of Staff. Of the people who have been President of Ghana since the 4th Republic was ushered in, I like Kuffuor more than any other. Yet Kuffuor had to mar his administration with his creation of a gold studded Presidential Medal to be awarded only to people who serve as President of Ghana. Then he promptly awarded this Medal to himself. This was an obscenity. There are rumors of other funny financial goings on but we know for sure that this medal was over the top. Then comes Atta Mills. Poor Atta Mills comes into office a very sick man, surrounded by NDC party young Turks who master minded stealing from the Presidential office. Every one in Atta Mills' presidential office is compromised. They all had the same dreams of amassing wealth just the same was as Victoria Hammah apparently confessed to having. We have the Alfred Woyome palaver as exhibit 1. There are other instances of chicanery in high Ghana office yet to be unearthed! With all those millions of stolen government money, polling agents can be bribed to count the votes the way the paymasters wanted it counted. Members of the office of Attorney General can be compromised. It is simply stunning. What is $1 million dream for Victoria Hammah when more than $56 million is being, shall we say, diverted?
With all these taping going on in Ghana, the politicians are warned. You cannot have a private conversation in your home, or car, in front of any member of your family or your office staff. They may all have been compromised by your political opposition. With examples like Rawlings acquisition of wealth to Kuffuor's tacky grab of Ghana gold and other assets and the NPP shameless sale of government assets to themselves, what do we expect new politicians like Victoria Hammah to learn from this history?

The sad part is such recorded messages are not originally carried out by the FM stations personnel. The sources are not known and, worst of all the process of handling is open to serious abuse. This a typical example of internal disturbance to dislodge a colleague from appointment for the selfish interest of individuals.

I am so sorry that proper enquiry should have been initiated to carry a thorough investigation that could deep-rooted all involved.

The deputy minister has not stolen anything from government, thus we can never describe her as corrupt. Mpiani stole Ghana money during the Ghana@50.

If people refuse to say that, God is aware Mpiani and the NPP did what this lady had not done. What a hell that a person like Mpiani also will support swift frustration action taken by the frustrated president.

At least if Mahama is not frustrated he should have gone into the case with all calmness so that people can read him as matured.

Any way a frustrated person can never control anything properly, and hence will show things the way we see it today.
