I suggest you ask one of your members of staff to be in charge of a fund-raising drive, set up an endowment fund and friends of the institution who will help with the fundraising.

You can have open days when the students will display their skills. If you have a choir, you can organise a musical concert.

There is a lot that you can do to help yourselves.
