This is hypocrisy! About 90% of Ghanaians started with home used gadgets. Now that things are not that flexible, these hypocrites are behaving as if things are now in good shape. It is true however that such new electrical appliances consume less energy. Read in between the lines! They know we are angry with them for the tariff increases. All they are doing is a face saving strategy!
Will the ban reduce the increase? Will it improve the dum so dum so? Like in a football match, we need to catch them on the break and let them know that we know. This is what seems to be lacking in our body politique. If there is anybody out there who has been reading my contributions, I keep emphasizing that we need to stop the politics and collectively demand accountability and responsibility.
If we decide one day to organize a protest march demanding our fare share of the national cake by asking both parties to account for JJ's nineteen years, NPP's eight, the rest from Mahama, they will sit up. If we keep on with this system every election year, I bet on the life of every precious Ghanaian that they will look for other professions instead of fooling us with politics.
Look! Whenever we divide ourselves through politics, they feel very ok because we don't demand that all important accountability. They feel very very comfortable because like marionettes (string puppets), as they pull the strings, all we do is dance to some unsynchronising tune. I would feel like a Ghanaian if everybobdy contributing on this site will start by demanding what we should have done long ago! My fellow Ghanaians, I personally know a lot of them, and if most of us will get close to them as I have, most of you will pull guns!
I don't get something with us! about 99% of Ghanaians know that they are there for themselves and their families. I wanted to start a movement whereby if we don't see the children of ALL those contesting for the nation's No 1 office, then NO VOTE!! My fellow Ghanaians, can't we start something as pioneers? Because if the Nigerians see this they will also organise something similar, and this will spread accross the sub continent like wildfire. Your contributions please. Thank you.

I understand their situation, but they must bear it in mind that majority of Ghanaians are living below poverty level and cannot afford to purchase brand new fridges> even the used ones they have, they made a lot of sacrifices before they could buy.The new ones can be radically reduced so that it can meet the pockets of the ordinary people.
